I had my IMS replaced with Luke laat month and opted for the comprehensive inspection. The whole process was very professional with accompanying photos. We chatted through the list of faults and agreed a schedule and price. Luke was very fair and I collected the car a few days later as I live in Cumbria. First class service and highly recommended. Thanks Luke
I like the learning about the Nitty gritty boring stuff. It's nice to know what needs doing, even if it's the unglamorous real world ownership of an older car
I’m hoping to be a customer very soon. Very excited to buy my first 911 from Luke. Fingers crossed.
Thanks Luke. Good to hear you talk through this, you have great knowledge on these cars and sharing it is great.
Interesting to know how much this refresh costs including labour
Parts costs at the very least please! Thanks
@@steverogers7473They get their parts through a firm that has appeared on one of FGP videos. Possibly called Sport Design or similar?
Love these videos. I'll buy a car from you guys one day!
Going to have some work done in Feb 24 hopefully for my 997 cararra S
Thanks for the Video Luke, happy Xmas to you and the team 🎉🎅
Tripod = Xmas pressie for Oli 🤔
Love the video’s always very informative and detailed.Did you do a four wheel alignment on site as you haven’t driven it yet would like to see a video of that.
Love watching your overhaul videos ! Just wondering - I've noticed that you re-use some mounting hardware but replace others with new... curious - would relish being educated as to how you determine what to re-use and what to replace, guessing there is a consideration as to necessary/unnecessary cost ? Corrosion ? Knackered threads ? In my younger student days when working on my own car I would always ( not saying this was a good idea) re-use pretty much no matter what as I could barely afford the main part !!
Luke, great tip re oil temp / pressure
As a new 996tt owner I'm interested in the same refresh. I sent an email to FCP directly requesting a quote for the same parts list. Looking forward to getting a response. Great video btw.
What kind of driving feel are you going for to explain the choice of the Koni’s? Eg vs Bilsteins or K&W’s?
Have you had to replace the CV joints on these front or rear?
Do you align the car to factory specs or do you have a more tire friendly alignment you use or recommend?
What happened to the power steering lines? They're a crazy price aren't they and only from Porsche...right?
