  • I've never had the balance, stamina, or sheer guts to run, jump, and parkour like people do in those amazing videos - but I'm TOTALLY down for trying it in a video game! Typically, you watch these people do amazing acrobatical moves with the fluidity of smooth running water, but brace yourself... I am not that! I'm more likely to look like a wrecking-ball going through a glass-maze...lol, but we're gonna have a great time either way.

    It's not really a stealth takedown as much as one from behind lol, there's only a few times in the game where it doesn't alert anyone.
    In Catalyst you can set your *own* waypoint, so less confusing paths (most of the time).
    Some of the areas in the PK facility are super tough to get through if you don't use weapons, especially if you try to fight them head on.
    The playground with the Pursuit Cops is my favorite in the game, fighting an enemy that can actually move around is satisfying to beat.
    Yep you have to fight all the cops in the boat to turn the wheel, good job beating them up though!

    Is it really a twist when you almost had it figured out who the bad "guy" was from Part 1 lol.

      Thanks Isaac. You're right... it was obviously a guess, but she seemed suspicious to me almost instantly. I still think it's a bit odd that Merc, who can pretty much see where all of us are at any given moment (almost instantly), had no idea she was working/training with the enemy...lol.

    The trick for the Celeste fight and other combat is being unpredictable. If you throw a punch after you already just punched, you will be countered. Whereas if you try a punch then kick or low punch combo or the reverse, you can stunlock enemies.
    The devs seemed to realize that this was unclear, so this is actually told to the player in Catalyst, and the game goes out of it's way to teach the player that enemies will counter you if you use the same move multiple times in a row.

      I'm glad they realized the issue here and improved on it, because I agree, I was completely clueless (although, me being clueless is not that unusual sometimes...lol).

    It's definitely unfair how many enemies they send to gun you down , especially in places you don't know the layout and where to go .
    I don't really get Project Icarus , guns work just fine .
    In the opening cutscene they showed security cameras when talking about changes , so my theory is that it's about control and monitoring , and people are slowly loosing their privacy ( but can't really see were the runners fit in other then the fact that they go against the law and have like freedom ) .

      @@BenjamightGaming there is such an influx of new players and alot of stuff is outdated due to updates, I would do them myself but frankly I've used your guides for many years because they where so clear 😔 a return to form as they say old chap! 🇬🇧👍

    Yeah, I really feel like all the combat related stuff severely cripples the game and it would've been better if they just stuck to the parcours puzzles kinda aspects with the occasional being under fire for some added tension here and there.

      I agree Aro - I actually pour my heart out in the 'final thoughts' section of the last video, because I REEEEEALLY wanted to like this game, but the combat side of this game just ruined it for me. :-(

      @@BenjamightGaming That's sad to hear, bu totally understandable. I never played the game myself but I can almost certainly say that it would ruin a large part of the fun for me as well if I'd ever play it
