Thanks for your videos. I have commented before but I now have a Weber Q2200. I searched RUclips and watched your videos before I made my final decision on what grill to buy for when we go camping. I really like the way the heat goes to the cooking grates and makes great grill marks. Have only used it a little but am looking forward to cooking on it more.
Awesome! Glad you settled on the Q2200... truth be told if I did my research ahead of time I would have bought that instead of the Q2000 that I have (and subsequently modified). You will have no regrets!
Thanks for the thumbprint tip - my first attempt at burgers turned into baseballs! Should have watched your video first! Nothing beats a burger on the grill 😀
They make a Pam spray with avocado oil as well. I used that along with your technique this past Mardi Gras when making cheese burgers on my q1200. Turned out great!
The Q can handle half pound patties but yes it will change up the cook time. Unfortunately I couldn’t tell you what that is because I always stick to those smaller 1/4 pounders! Maybe I will have to do a video with the half pounders!
the Q300 that I just bought appears to have 3 gas bars that light up when the bbq is on. Can I clean them the same as I saw on your video of the oblong gas bar? Luke
Hey William! Thanks for watching! I personally have no problem with leaner grounds - healthier is always better! But they are just easier to overcook and dry out. So you have to be very watchful and careful with your timings when cooking with the leaner percentages. Enjoy!
Haha, not sure there is any amount of hand washing between all the olive oil I use that can keep them from getting grimy. Maybe I should start using some food prep gloves ;-)
Nice job CG. Nothing beats a burger on a Weber. Huey obviously concurs. 👍
Hey thanks for coming on by! Huey is a big fan of all my non-veggie dishes lol.
the thumb print in the middle of burgers is an absulute pro tip - thanks for that - you're the man
Nicely done!
Yum!!! Nothing better than a delicious burger on the grill!! Joined you for more👍
You're right it is! And it's quick and easy too! Thanks for visiting and for the support as well!

Excellent video, exactly what I need as a new Q2000 owner. Keep up the good work.
Glad you found this helpful Joe! Sometimes simple is the best. The basics are what we eat most days anyways! Happy grilling!

Burgers are a great hot and fast meal! Truth be told I often forget to put that thumbprint in myself!
Thanks for sharing this.... yummmy!!!! Shower of blessings!
Thanks for checking on my video!

Awesome! We were on vacation in Colorado over Mardi Gras, but met some folks from Louisiana there who escaped the craziness!
Brilliant. Loved it. Subbed to follow so more of these brilliant bbq's....🔥🔥🔥👍
Appreciate that Xander! Hope we can inspire one another!
Messed this up and did half pound patties instead of quarter pound patties. I managed to salvage it but I’m looking forward to doing it right.

Very good!! You specify 85% lean. I was wondering what you think of leaner grounds i.e. 90 - 95%. Thanks.

Good job. Well done.......
When you grind salt & pepper, hold the bottom part and turn the bottle instead, it's much easier...
ever watched George Motz??? talking about ketchup ;-)
Thanx master griller
Does baby huey ever get a burger
Haha not a whole burger but sometimes he does get a little piece! 😋
@@ChicagoGriller i think you should cook a whole burger for him haha
Oily salt and pepper bottles

sorry to bother you, but since I did'nt find on the Internet: what the heck is 101 grilling???
I know you didn’t gave onions to that husky and if you did he probably poop the carpet
Yup, no onions for Huey!
Don't oil the patties. It's pointless and it won't sear as much. You get less flavor...flare ups are a good thing.
I have a Weber Q and can cook anything but burgers always give me a problemThank you for this great tutorial👍🏻ROCK ON!!!!!!!🤘🏻🤙🏻✌🏻
Hope this helped you out! Enjoy!
