      You see a nice central drain and think result, then after 15mins you realisebits either blocked or a soak away. It did drain eventually so all good.

    ups just an idea. Can it be possible to run 4 turbos with 2 left spinning and 2 right spinning. Allowing the water and not just the angle to move the dirt in a fixed direction? Maybe a competitor to your fanzy blue one?

    • @DirtyDriveAway
      @DirtyDriveAway  3 года назад

      If you ran 4 nozzles like that they would have to be small. In fact pa or suttner turbos only go down to a size 030 meaning running 4 would equate to massive orifice and you would have low pressure, they would also be heavy. Not all machines are even capable of running the twin nozzle lance due to low pressure.

    Hi Phil great video as usual. Just a question about the Dosatron. How do you clean your’s after use? Do you rinse it out and how? I have bought one and hoped to get some tips from you on best practices when using it 😁. Love to see a new video off your new van set up sometime. 👍

    • @DirtyDriveAway

      Yeah I rinse it through with fresh water. I have an old hypo drum that I cut. I fill it with water and rinse the unit through after use.

      Cheers Phil I have been using a bucket with fresh water then drawing it up at 50% just wondered if I was doing it right. Thanks for the help your videos have been a great help to me when I started my business in March. 👊🏻👊🏻

      @@christophercunningham856 50%? the dosatron does 25% max or 1of4 (3:1) rinse through with fresh water and it's good. Will just need priming again next time you use it.

      @christophercunningham856 3 года назад

      😂 I need to read the instructions to learn my ratios The 2 jobs I have used it on I have been using it at 25% then then screwing it half way down to draw up fresh water to clean thinking that was 50%🙄and drawing up more water. Time for new glasses and some reading. Cheers 👍

    • @DirtyDriveAway
      @DirtyDriveAway  3 года назад

      @@christophercunningham856 no 25% is the strongest mix, so that will draw up the quickest. If you wind the mixer down that will weaken the mix and thereby draw up less. I also have the bypass valve on mine which you can flick on and it will bypass the mixing and just push through fresh water.

    Maaan so many questions! Have you tried 35% Hydrogen percarbonate insted of the hypo? In my country I will be able to buy that for cheap compared. It is delivered via laundrymat companies.

    • @DirtyDriveAway
      @DirtyDriveAway  3 года назад

      Never heard of hydrogen percarbonate. I've used sodium percarbonate (laundry oxy powder) but it's very hard to mix without really hot water and because its not a biocide it won't kill algae or fungal spores. It also leaves a big powdery mess behind if it's not rinsed really well.

    • @Nillersoon40
      @Nillersoon40 3 года назад

      @@DirtyDriveAway silly me it was hydrogen peroxide H2O2. All this chemistry is a bit confusing.

    • @DirtyDriveAway
      @DirtyDriveAway  3 года назад

      @@Nillersoon40 all I know is hydrogen peroxide is usually used for bleaching hair lol. I dont tend to mess with other chems as you never know on their compatability with water or sewage/drainage. Sodium hypochlorite is not deemed harmful as it dilutes so quickly. I mean you chuck the stuff down ya bog so it can't be that bad.

    • @DirtyDriveAway

      Don't really need to mask with the low dilution but the surfactant does mask it to an extent. When using strong doses I sometimes add a flavour to the drum.
