There are not many payloads you would be able to send through email, all of these would be flagged. Other socials would be possible assuming they have it installed on their device, many different approaches to this

Sorry for the late reply, I am assuming you are using a VM running Kali, if not correct me. To find the IP of your VM machine, open up a terminal and write ifconfig, this will show the IP of the Kali Linux machine, lhost is the IP that you set using MSFvenom, this would be the IP of your VM, then the port that you set in MSFVenom, you need both of these things as once the file has been opened, the target machine needs to know the address of the machine to send the connection back to.

You don't have to no, the same file can be reused if its for the same system.
if my file is on the target system and i run it once, if the target system shuts down and restarts will the exploit still work?
It will only work once, you would need to redeploy once the host is shut down

Lhost and lport should be what up you set in msfvenom and you should be using the ip of your vm
