They came here illegally. What did you expect them to do? Start following our laws? Third World Country, USA.
Between the "vendors" clogging up the sidewalks and all of these electric bikes/motorcycles everywhere, these people have NYC looking like a proper 3rd World County. It is truly disheartening to see.
exactly, it is lack of enforcement , some people need to twist their arm to learn
Did u feel that way when tha colonizing pale creatures tha devils tha bible speaks of who invaded people lands and kill and destroyed everything and their unnatural children who burn in nature start there with those illegals
The Sidewalks Look so Slumy
@@nancyking9033 the sidewalk doesnot look slumy itself. Its the illegal vendor makes it slumpy..

Politicans Ruining American Cities
If you're not going to enforce immigration laws or bail laws then what right do you have to enforce street vendor laws? This picking and choosing what laws to enforce based on political ideology is whats making the city suck.
Red light district is unbothered as prostitutes run the streets 😂
And all that money they send back to their homes while the taxpayer pays their food and rent
yup, and free health insurance
Ridiculous isn't it
this is why western union have huge line all the time
Yup ! That it ..!
@@staytune7904yup you know it !!!
They block sidewalk traffic.
The sidewalks are a shared space to begin with.
also bus stop
@@CautionHighWavesAhead- is sharing sidewalk meant you can put a concession stand there all day?
@@CautionHighWavesAhead- for walking
@@eddien.8694 It's a city. Those people have customers which shows there is a demand. Not everyone agrees with you for sure. This city already has too many rules, too much bureacracy, and too many petulant totalitarians who want to be the mayor. Most are people who didn't grow up here and have escaped Red States.
these street vendor are selling the same or higher price as a ligit stores who pays rent, utilities, taxes, salaryies etc where the street vendor are not. there are so many help wanted poster but no one ever apply since street vendor makes higher. they are just lazy. try tax evasion instead.
They also have to work in harsh conditions such as extremely hot days, cold windy days, snow days, or when it's raining heavy.
That’s their choice rent a storefront like the rest of us
@@stelity nope. no rainy day, no snow days, but if you work under some one, you must go to work, this call resposibily.
@@truthwarrior2727 do you really think they are going to pay rent while they pay zero rent now?
@@truthwarrior2727don’t get mad cuz they found a easy cost effective way to do business people in are government use loopholes for taxes why can’t we ?
"They're just trying to make a living"
So are the shop-owners who are *legally* selling their products
The government shouldn't be telling people what they can and can't do with people who are operating on a voluntary basis.
@@nickmarsala3787 What, That has been the law all over the US, you need a valid license to operate a business, especially food because of health issues.
@@rhondagrace1370 Again and my point is that you absolutely shouldn't. No one should need permission to do business with another person voluntarily.
Why should businesses pay rent, and taxes and street vendors don't. Street vendors should have to get licenses and pay taxes, otherwise they should not be allowed to sell merchandise on the sidewalk.
Ahh yes, do everything that would give the capitalist more money and control
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The city just uses those people who are at this point mostly immigrants and steals their wealth through all sorts of means. The crooked NYC government.
How about no one paying taxes for selling items that are taxed when coming in and imported? Wouldn't that be more fair?
The city only gives out a certain amount of vendor licenses... But i agree with you...
How about cracking down the prostitution in Jackson heights first?
👏👏💯 especially when school kids are around walking to school and back home.
Don't mess with Adam's Beauties!
Don’t be such a L7 you don’t have to touch no one will force you.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Let's not get reckless,, there are good deals to be had.. in Jackson
They need to pay for a license, PERIOD!
license also restrict them to sell on any main road.
Exactly
No they don't! You shouldn't have to have a license to sell things and conduct business on a voluntary basis with other people.
@@nickmarsala3787 They do
@@stephenulmer3781 They shouldn't be forced to do so. It's government oppression
To the person in the purple beanie, they are hurting actual people who have permits and use that as income for their families. Legally. You need to ask yourself if you would be ok if you followed all the rules and paid your fees to set up a shop. Then, a migrant comes in and undercuts you. Your income is gone. And they do so illegally. Without pay fees for permits or following the same laws that you have to follow. How would you feel then? How do you feed your family? Will the government pay your bills, put your family in a hotel, buy your food, etc... it is sad, but it is true.
Your explanation is 1000 % Correct 👍
It's sad you think if you think that's true. But you do know churches don't even pay taxes. Where is the same energy for that?
Have you considered that perhaps these vendors might be scapegoating these street vendors? Taking away customers, fair enough, but could the vendors take some responsibility? Is it possible? I don't know too much of rhe situation
He doesn't care because none of that applies to him. In fact he looks like one of the homeless people that camp out illegally.
@@flybabyjake Wouldn't doubt it for a second.
The food vendors got no permits, paid no state taxes, and do not have health and safety standards.
do you think they care ?
Keep cheering for the Government and more taxes and more restrictions. Governments are extorting people like you and me every day all day and they double tax everything, that have a Racket better than the Mafia dreamed of. Wake up buddy. I wish we used so much energy to make the wealthy pay taxes so we don't have to, yet it's the other way around, we pay taxes so the wealthy don't have to. Stop Encouraging Your Government to Over Tax You and Me. While they go after the Poor and Middle Class.
@staytune7904 they should because if someone gets sick then the vendor should be shut down and held liable like any other business but with no documentation how can you recover for damages? They can claim it wasn't them or pick up and disappear while your child or loved one was poisoned or injured from something being in the food or item.
You aren't forced to consume their products.
Where do they go to the bathroom and or wash their hands?….
We have a lot of street vendors now a day in California, and I find it appalling as it’s not fair to store owners/renters who pays licenses and taxes toward the state and get penalize by health department.
I’m sick of illegal immigration these people are stealing from us
Nothing's fair in capitalism. Get used to it.
You're literally saying "wahhh, these poor people make it harder for the rich people to get richer" smdh
@@livertiny If they were in front of your house on the public sidewalk you'd be the first one crying about them.
@@livertiny the poor people are making the rich tax and squeeze the middle class people
@@dingus6317 lol it's not the poor people doing that. Although rich people appreciate that narrative lol
Yet they never go after the Dominicans in Washington heights.
Or the Mexicans in Jackson Heights and Corona.
you think these illegal vendors give a sh**??? theyll just come back when the police leave.....
yup
Until ICE shows up!! The illegal vendors need to understand that the public is growing less and less tolerant of the low quality ways of life that affect everyone. And many of the courtesy's that have been extended (sanctuary city) may start to get revoked.
@@bxrokk So True. I know we're fed up with it here in California
@@stephenulmer3781 People everywhere are getting fed up. And the entitled attitudes of the migrants aren't helping. We empathize with their plight, but they don't seem to want to follow the laws and assimilate into American culture.
maybe the IRS can create a small business tax evasion units to investigate them .
I've been there in that part of NY. Flushing predominately Korean area. Those who follow NY laws are right. However, many think they can do what was okay back in South Korean. You can't do that here in the U.S. I thought all immigrants who gain citizenship were briefed on American laws, dos and don'ts. I'm glad the issue is being made aware.
Flushing is mostly Taiwanese and Chinese
Tell them to flush back to their own country.@@marilyn95977
Those Street vendors are from china, I don't where you get that info.

Shut up. Americans aren't even briefed on American laws.
It’s inevitably concerning as more migrant waves are coming to your city streets
Not only it’s illegal but it’s dangerous to block sidewalks. Especially for people like wheelchair users or blind people
salute to them hustlers out there in queens really tryna make a living at least they not robbing people like some others ahem....
Hmmm. Deadly sidewalk blocking. Stop watching so much mainstream media. You're a victim of sensationalism.
so many little fruit stands, clothing vendors, and food stands have popped up. i hate how dirty it looks.
@@acestarone That was part of the issue during Guliani. All that has to be done is have them clean up and try to not make a mess.
Then focus on making it safe for the blind and wheelchair users and don't punish freedom loving people.
Watch out. The vendors will be on every area that has an open space
Actual capitalism in the shit hole police state country that proclaims to love capitalism and freedom. What a tragedy.
They already are.
North America was lost forever and ever. 😢 The look poor country to third word. 😮
They have to pay just like we do!!!! I’m sick of this city taking advantage of taxpayers and giving others a pass my family helped build this city over the past hundred and fifty years this city has abandoned the real Americans
apparently they only like to take, not give, therefore, no contribution to society.
The entire U.S. Government blatantly cannibalizes citizens!
Take it up with your government for not making housing affordable.
“Real Americans” 🙄
Are you Native American???
Police should work in conjunction with immigration and taxing authorities to rid the city of this problem.
Just deputize some citizens to give out tickets. Fine them. Are those vendors legal? By NYC being sanctuary ICE can't deport them.
Work in conjunction with immigration? In New York? 😂😂😂😂
@@Chicago48 pass it to the traffic ticket agent , they are on the street all the time
cancel their food stamp and medicaid if get caught . there are no reason to give food stamp while they are making money off the books

Why they only do that in Asian communities Vendors ?why not others areas not catches it???
probably trying to downgrade US communities to a 3rd world country
How much for the crab?
same price as the market there
They also should go after Jackson heights, Canal Street and Hell’s Kitchen on the weekend.
Roosevelt Ave in Jackson heights is total hell.
So never mind people being assaulted on the subway. This is a top priority...
Depends on the demographic of people. Who rides the subway more
Will you let them in illegally what else they going to do
They said… ‘’defund the police’ now they want the police 😂😂
Maybe that guy that says they’re just trying to make a living wants to pay extra taxes to cover what the street venders are stealing. The items confiscated should be given to the honest stores who are losing sales because of the crooks in the streets.
Why are those people selling sea food that’s been sitting out there in the sun for so long. It’s disgusting. Take your smelly fish and go find a spot and pay for rent. Stop torturing everybody else with that smell.
eggs too, even the box read keep refrigirated
At night on Sanford Avenue I saw a bunch of food vendors cooking over flame, one table had large pots of boiling oil on a card table with throngs of pedestrians right next to it! Enforce the laws please.

Follow the rules or suffer the consequences 😢.
The electric bikes on the side walks are a huge problem!
The police really need to focus on catching VIOLENT criminals instead of focusing on this crap! Street vending is part of the NYC economy.
Illegal a word that has no meaning in the USA. 😂
Yes lets crack down on all these rich people selling food on the sidewalk who have no other way to make a living.
This is America, not your country! Lawlessness
Welcome to flushing 😂😂😂😂 100% knock offs
illegal dispensaries are 1:130 to each legal location but they don't shut them down because those places are owned by the rich
Here in lower Manhattan Canal and Broadway... tons of vendors selling fake luxury items.
How do they get all the stuff to sell to start with? Thats right, take money out of the pockets of those who comply...Save the world...to hell with our own.
Save flushing. It smells like crap and you cannot walk
Roosevelt Ave looking like the red lights district but got they focus on the food vendors
Just going after the little guy that is working hard to make a living instead of the Criminals shop lifting and attacking people
Deport!
Wow!! Going after the real criminals, NY at its best
Wow! That’s all you see? That’s sad
Fight the real crimes! Godamnit! At least these people are selling stuffs to people who are in need, compare to those real criminals who are doing nothing all day but to hurt people!!
For these neighborhoods this is real crime. Property owners, residents, and businesses should not be subjected to the imposition of illegal vendors setting up shop wherever they want.
@@bxrokk Exactly!
@@bxrokk I am not saying it’s legal! All I am saying is that they are not the priority of the NYPD! Get those real criminals out there first!
They need licenses and insurance so if you get food poisoning you can sue the insurance company and them
Make these people a place where they can sell the products like in London and have them pay their monthly rent for the spot
They did that with the Caribbean Vendors at Flatbush & Caton but the property value went up and is now housing.
they did offer but these illegal vendor don't want to there
I thought they had places like that ,,,aren't they called malls
Deport them back to China.

Violent criminals often released into NYC subways, meanwhile police cracking down on street vendors, while defunded by US Maoist elites of the democrat party! Prayers
I'm broke as he'll. Still nobody let's me break the law
Who cares !!! We have real criminal running around 🤦🏻♂️
How did they get into the country?
Shipping containers from china
no pitty for selling fake items on a public sidewalk
There needs to be community militia group who work with the police to clear this out and keep order in each neighborhood. They will get the message.
Finally send them packing all they do is take up space
Bring back Giuliani
They want us to feel bad for them for doing something illegal?! 😂
Well, in New York City in New York. There's no place of living. The cost of living is crazy and to drive downtown in New York. You have to pay a permit for that and that's expensive at the end of the day. Your deep plating everybody's funds. Now we have to resolve and making money because you don't want to give us a living and this is United States of America. So at the end of the day all of our taxes are going to all these other countries. So don't be butt hurt because we want to make money in our own country
People trying to make a living. Permits are a headache and NYC gov rips off everyone. This city is just so stupid. Defund the bureuacracy.
And turn the city into the countries that most of these vendors fled? The vendors need to understand that if their intention is to bring their bad habits and low quality ways of life into the US they will not be welcomed.
@@bxrokk Exactly
Three words: Third World Country
Challenges are not wanting to enforce laws unless they’re Black citizens.
Get a bulldozer damn streets starting to look like a third world country
California Too
People that don't want to pay taxes.
Dude wit 2 bushels of crabs😭
This is one of the reasons why I am concern of illegal immigrants comimg to this country. They don't follow the laws. They think they can easily start a vendor and make money without understanding the rules, guidelines, and need a permit. Currently I live in the Philippines and here street vendors are extremely common, you will see throughout the country you don't need a permit. But in the US of course its entirely different. Im not against immigration. Since Im helping my wife get a green card. When she hears these illegal immigrants coming to US its unfair for those who are doing it the legal way and must wait.
NYPD needs to focus on other more serious crimes
New surge of hate crimes and violence, NYC's top priority is whether street vendors are paying enough taxes. Still choking the shit out of small business like Eric Garner...
Simply hired part time people to give out tickets - let cops do their normal jobs.
1:25 Sale of live crabs is crazy. Restaurants would take them if they were from a reputable supplier & quality was good.
selling live crabs.... whoa
No money from me.
Not even bothering to go to the city. You know how many people
Have moved upstate because of this? Thousands of people have moved either upstate or Florida. My friend bounced out of Brooklyn to Virginia so she doesn’t have to deal with this bs. Deport them! Not welcomed!!!
Legitimate retailers are only "just trying to make ends meet" .
😂😂😂😂 those illegal immigrants are busting every law in USA, driving around delivery food, no licenses 😂😂, Open prostitution, Opening up vendings without any license.😂😂😂 undocumented illegal immigrants don't obey laws 😂😂😂
We have shoplifting mobs hitting major stores when there are goods already packed in totes ready to load in a car readily available from street vendors who probably won't or can't file charges. Why aren't the thiefs cleaning out the street vendors every day?
Thats the most obvious question, you have to be low IQ
Maybe they should start taking things from stores and walking out without paying since that seems to be legal now. I don’t see cops arresting thieves .
They need to crackdown over here in Jamaica. I get trying to make ends meet but the streets are so congested now especially post pandemic. Something’s gotta give.
Yessssssssss i cant stand it.
Next stop for Miles? confiscation of all cash and goods and then directly to jail, same with the rest....
This has literally being going on for decades .
More like since the invention of shops
That whole city is a cesspool
Instead of catching people pushing people on subway tracks. You have them wasting time on people trying to make a living. Street vendor are providing are service, while store price gouge people.
Criminals saying they are just trying to make ends meet is no excuse for crime. Jail time will stop it.
If illegals break the law they are supposed to be deported
Real, tax paying businesses suffer. Hurting the economy. The sanitation at these clandestine restaurants is unknown. Food is prepared at home, could be roaches and flies all over it.
What about focusing on the hookers instead of the vendors? This is pointless
Diversity is our strength they said.

Shut up White
Get a licence, sinple
Some of these people are trying to make an honest living not all of them are doing criminal activities or buying illegal items.

people trying to move down the sidewalk,
especially those who are blind or in wheelchairs.
Or you could let somebody try to make a dollar

It seems other countries have more freedom. Because in Asian countries this isn't even illegal. And it's how they make money. It's not like they're selling drugs.
Free enterprise... If you pay. I don't agree with the street hustle. But Americans have to live. Let's fix immigration and endorsement of that.... So Americans can live!
Leave the people alone.

Yeah blame the street vendors for your business, like that's the one thing affecting you. As someone who isn't middle class and struggling to make cash, I can appreciate lower prices on goods compared to the rather extortionate prices you may find in other stores. Maybe these street vendors are forcing them back back onto their aases to actually make a profit.
I unno. I feel like there are far more harmful things in the city the police aren't touching up on
*Those are for sure some "lively" crabs*
That was so disgusting. Any restaurant would be in big trouble for that and made to throw out. Can't imagine anyone would buy them
