Crop nutrition in salt-affected soils, 24 April 2024, online

The INSAS webinar Crop nutrition in salt-affected soils took place virtually on April 24, 2024. The webinar is the fourth in a series of webinars organized by the International Network of Salt-Affected Soils of the Global Soil Partnership, an initiative which is aimed at raising awareness on sustainable management of salt-affected soils for food security, agricultural sustainability and climate change mitigation. This webinar focused on the challenges and solutions for crop nutrition in salt-affected soils. The participants discussed different aspects of this subject such as: (1) nutritional problems of salt-affected soils, deficiencies and toxicities; (2) nutrient behaviours in salt-affected soils; (3) crop nutrition management in salt-affected soils; (4) nutrient and crop wise management practices; (5) case studies on crop nutrition management in salt-affected soils.
