- You wanna bake some delicious cake but don't have an oven? No problem! Learn how to make this mouthwatering Vanilla Sponge Cake with nothing but a convection microwave.
I used a 24 x 20 cm dish and regular oil in this video.
Bake the cake at 180 C for 25 to 30 minutes in a convection microwave to get the perfect brown crust on the cake or microwave for 3 to 4 minutes on high for crustless cake.

what's the size of the pan to use in the microwave?
Thank you for the amazing recipe. I tried it in my microwave. It took 10minutes but came out white but cooked. So I had to brown it in my oven just to make it look appetizing.

43g butter
64g milk

192g plain flour
1.5tsp baking powder

Di, I have this issue that in my microwave 'LG iwave' there is no temperature buttons, So how Will i bake or else I will do for 1 min and then if its not baked I will bake once again for 1 min, In tjis case the cake xont get ruined, na?

Probably you got the ratios wrong or If your microwave doesn’t have a rotating plate or long baking time or large amount of ingredients

So, if we skip just the Sugar, I can have a microwave bread right? So, why do we proof it and reknead it and reshape it for a bread recipe? Kindly explain
So basically i made this substituting the all purpose flour with atta, that is whole-wheat flour and the oil with unsalted butter. Idk why but it rose so fucking high it literally flew off a few centimetres off the floor lol but settled down once I stopped the heating. Also, I think whole-wheat made the batter super thick so I had to add extra butter and milk and also sneaked in a bit of strawberry syrup. :3
