I remember Naalak being very welcoming to all when I lived for 3 wonderful years in Kangiqsujuaq. Going out on the land with him was always a wonderful learning experience. What an honour for his family and the people of Kangiqujuaq and Nunavik.

Hunting whales in Canada should and will be again illegal. The name of this diesel powered antiquated ship should be a reflection of all Canadians, a name everyone can pronounce and NOT a small highly subsidized special interest group in the middle of butt fk nowhere. My tax dollars ill-spent again !

What does this ship have to do with hunting whales? Pretty sure research vessel not a whaling ship😂
