For the left taillight check your fuses. I know on my Jeep the left signals are on a separate fuse and the fuse blew when my trailer wiring harness shorted it out, so only my right side blinkers worked until I stopped by a gas station and got a fuse kit

I know I'd probly get out the multimeter and start making sure your actually getting voltage at the headlights when you hit the brake pedal, or the left turn signal, start finding out where the problem is, if its something in the tailight controller, or a computer on the truck

100% you screwed up some sort of module or wiring in the dash and there is no power or signaling to the junction block you just replaced. Also would make sense why the CLICKY noise dont work right!
On almost all gmc 2014 and up the blinker chime is tied into the radio also for the radio do a loop back harness and a dsp keep the stock radio as complications come with a aftermarket upgrade
Plug a trailer Into your truck. If all the lights don’t work on the trailer, I’d say your wiring issue is up the line from that junction box.
It’s funny to watch you actively avoid starting the center console with a bunch of small things😂

I can't get my current video to export. Tried everything I can find on google for many hours now. Im actually finishing this video in the morning because I got into that for so long last night. Just says error disk full which....its definitely not full. Its only a 25 minute video we aren't talkin that much space..........idk currently im stuck but we have your center console build to look forward to so theres something.
If your truck has a factor trailer harness check it and see what light you have off of it. In my grandfathers Silverado he had a similar issue where his lights didn’t work so he just tapped off the trailer ones that worked. He put a fuse in line also. You can check the trailer lights with a multimeter or an actual trailer light tester.

Maybe I'm just dumb but I've been here since the sharpie bike cbr and would love to maybe see a tiny bit of sharpie done on some part of the truck, maybe even just the inside of a compartment as a throwback!
Issue could possibly be with the body control ECU. Had some experience with a similar situation (front signals didn't work, rears did work.) New Body ECU fixed the issue. Worth looking into.
I agree - I hate doing intros for some reason. That being said though, at your level I’m not sure they really matter much, you could say “hey guys, today we’re watching paint dry” and I would still watch, because I know you will make it hilarious somehow. 👍🏼

All sema trucks, look up videos showing the welds on the trucks at the sema shows, half of the time everything is just tack welded in place cause they rush the whole thing to get it done in time. After watching videos that get up close to these trucks I will never ever look at buying a sema show truck when they are done with it regardless of if I have the money or not lmfao. completely built for show wouldn’t even trust them driving on the road only.
Maybe check your grounds in the back? Not a mechanic but usually it's a quick/easy fail point.

Sooo, the taillights. The left was blinking fast, the right was blinking slow, I think maybe it has something to do with the little thing that tells it it’s drawing enough power, so it doesn’t think your leds are out. Which is why the blinkers blink fast.
This might be a shot in the dark, but I worked on my father's truck with a similar issue. It ended up being the mirror turn signal wire was broken and shorting in the harness between the body and the door, like the little rubber piece. Maybe look there

Does the truck possibly have thermal flashers for the blinker system? If so check those!

The brake light problem could be a BCM problem. Good way to check is take your old wires and tie them into you trailer light wires and test them that way. 2013-16 Ford F-250s have the same problem and I have had to tie in the trailer light connection to “temporarily” fix them. I’m not saying it will work but could be a option before fully diving into the harness
My taillights stopped working because of a short in the trailer plug, wires had slipped out. RAM has grounds in there for the entire rear. GMC has their grounds on the rear part of the frame i think? dan's issue seems pretty similar

I’m not a tech or anything, but some ideas: bad turn signal switch in the steering wheel and switch behind the pedal maybe? But I thought when the pedal one goes bad it defaults open or on?! Or a bad body control module? But those are just guesses. Or maybe the ecu doesn’t know where to port the signals any more or lost connection and needs to be flashed?! Just ideas
Making progress. Maybe a custom inlay from your plasma cutter and or some beefy hinges.
When I wanna mock something up I use cardboard then transfer to plywood and you can build rounding in with foams and then pull vinyl or leather over it.
try unplugging your led bulbs and plugging them back in opposite from what you had them. the same thing happened to me when using led bulbs on my truck. notice how they're blinking oddly faster than usual. that means something isnt connected correctly or the truck doesnt like those bulbs and you need resisters or something lol hope this helps! stay up Dan 🤙

First of all pull up the schematics for the tail lights start at the tailight check power and ground and work your way up the schematic until you reach the beginning or find where you lost power and or ground process of elimination. Don't just guess at it

It might be the actual blinker switch on the Colum. My old Sierra had that problem
You should try to see what the brown pad inserts look like on the black door panels to give it a little brown🤷🏼♂️
