DISCLAIMER This is a way to restore your library to former glory if you accidentally made changes e.g. all rekordbox library has been deleted. Time Machine has the ability to restore individual files/folders.
1. You must have a Time Machine backup

tried this and also ended up learning about "hidden" files in finder and how to find them :) if you're in the same mess as me (rebooted my computer without thinking about my cue-points and tempo-analysis) and can't find /users/"username"/library/pioneer just google how to find hidden files in Time Machine backup. maybe this is common knowledge but if this saves anyone the headache I just had its worth writing this comment lol. thanks for the video!

Hey! Thank you for the vid. Is there a reason you don't recommend this for a transfer from mac to new mac? For example; my old mac's internal ssd crashed and I have never backed up my old rekordbox which led me to believe all my cue points etc were unretrievable. But I do still have an older backup on my ext hard disk so in theory it should be possible to retrieve the data on my new pc through there. Maybe I'm missing something, not sure!

- does this method restore ALL data in rekordbox? Specifically Cue Points, Loops, Colors, My tags?
The reason I ask is I'm trying to backup my Rekordbox library but it keeps saying "rekordbox failed to backup the collection" and I just cannot figure out why, so for now I don't have the option of backing up through Rekordbox directly.
This is why I really want to know if Time Machine restores everything because if it does then great but if this method only restores songs and playlists but with no metadata ie hot points, cues, my tags etc then that's not good enough and I will continue searching for a solution.
Any help would be much appreciated!!!!

As stated in the time machine video, it's a workaround if you happen to delete your library or accidentally made any changes you want to undo.
If you're having any backup problems please send a support ticket to rekordbox.com and they will gather more info off you.

@@therealblackmoose Thanks a lot for quick response - thats great to hear. Yeah im just watching that video now. Even though ive done all i can to clean up my library i keep getting the "failed to backup the collection" message so am going to send off a ticket.
