The first two I trained and they worked for two years before I discovered that all the taxes I had paid in on them and all the taxes coming from their paychecks was just languishing in the IRS because they were undocumented. I had to let both go and they were my most skilled workers. The third time it happened, different staffing company and I invested three years in this guy teaching him machines that are rare and difficult to run, ICE picked him up at a traffic court. None of these three guys were criminals, (speeding is a traffic crime i suppose) they were all brought here as children. All paid in taxes they could not collect. Now we are supporting their children with the welfare system because they were not given a path to citizenship and married local women.
