Haven't watched video yet but from the title yes I would. It's the only hobby I have and it's my passion. Often said if I can't ride my bikes may as well put me In a hole🙄👍

Firstly, best not to assume the guy you spotted with a prosthetic arm lost his arm in a bike accident. Could have come about through all sorts of reasons - congenital, sepsis, industrial accident, etc.
For me, riding is not just about pleasure and mental wellbeing, it is also practical transport. So yes, I don't think having a serious accident would deter me psychologically from riding again. If it was really going to upset my wife and our children, I would have to think again. Sometimes serious accidents are more unbearable for them.
