hey sir, can i insert a scan data into plasticity and design my part around the scan data. I'm currently using fusion360 for my project, just stumbled plasticity video a while back. Do you think it would work??
If you bought indie at 99 dollars that version will need a licence renewal if you bought indie at 149 dollars you simply need to download the latest version from the website and install it.
Ctrl z lol, I don't think you can convert a spline back to a plane unless you maybe try delete the surface and patch it back in, you can toggle the points off though if they are bothering you
Got it, thx lol, I only press Z which is toggle on and off, the new feature seem to only work with planes, when I have a round curve/surface, it won’t let me adjust or change shapes
Yeah it fails a lot on more complex surfaces, I find it's most useful with lower subdivisions to help create create interesting shapes. I find trying to select a large range of points on a complex surface less useful or simply will fail
no way.. ive wished for this so many times while modelling
Me too it's really a bit like proportional editing in poly software which is so useful
this is too good to be true, i can't believe my eyes
Haha, I'm glad you liked it
this program is incredible, so nice to support an indie dev, even more so with no subscriptions.
I Absolutely love it!
What an awesome piece of software, thanks.
It truly is!
excellent, you are one of the fews who are not pretending. Yes please more of Plasticity to Blender and how to improve / modify the model there.
Thank you! I think I will be doing a video at some point on the Plasticity to Blender workflow!
YOU'RE A MADLAD!!! That's the best tutorial I've ever seen on Plasticity. WOW!!! Thanks 👏👏👏👏
Thank you! I Am indeed a Mad Lad!
This is sooooo coool :) ! Thank You so much for the info and the demonstration ^^
My pleasure!
Damn. That's must be the most useful plasiticity tutortial so far
Thank you, it's my favourite feature at the moment
Thanks
My Pleasure!
There’s that thing with complex fillets or rotating face that it fails but sometimes it’s succeeds on a 3rd or 4th try
Yep it can be fiddly but I'm my experience it's just a puzzle that needs to be solved!
@@takerefuge3d happy accidents sometimes method of inspiration 😅

Do you have to pay another license fee? I bought the indie 1.3 last time around. Thanks
If you bought indie at 99 dollars that version will need a licence renewal if you bought indie at 149 dollars you simply need to download the latest version from the website and install it.
Keep in mind the x nurbs feature is only in the studio version. You should be able to upgrade from indie to studio if you need it.
Yep forgot to mention that, thanks
for raise degree how do I go back? I keep increase the number but couldn't go back to less points.
