With her powerful jaws she can easily break someone's neck, yet she carries her babies with the same so gently.
Sometimes I wonder how sweet a mother's love can be...

I thought she had five Cubs. But it was her huge paw. It's amazing to watch how gentle she is with her teeth when she picks them up.

@@sanatsharma7470 Well, she only has her own babies. In the wild in prides all the females are related and help raise each other's babies in a communal nursery. This is not to say that a mother does not know her own babies or love her babies the most.
Lionesses are brilliant moms, they are really hands on and really protective and never get tired of their cubs, they will fight for no matter what for their cubs to survive.❤️❤️❤️💪💪

I always say that lionesses are the true single mothers, not only due they care for their little ones with much love but also are the hunters to feed their family.

@@jctell1014 Yes, that is correct. It is also simply easier when you have four toddlers. Everything is not about instincts, contrary to popular belief. Animal are far more intelligent than most people know or a even willing to believe. They can think and plan. They love and sympathy. They even mourn.

She is really a happy girl. She has a wonderful partner. They have been a bonded couple for many years. This is either the third or possibly fourth litter they have had together. He is a great father and loves and takes care of his babies.

Zoo d'Amnéville, north east of France. The lion cubs are almost as big as their parents now, but they do have white tiger cubs at the moment that are still small

I always find it interesting how non domesticated animals seem to have an easier time bonding and nurturing their young. I've seen dogs that have trouble being attentive to their pups
They are domesticated by human, they take all human dysfunction.

When the cubs are old enough they will go to other zoo. It is too dangerous to keep them together. Especially the ypung males van turn towards their father and kill him.

They are pestered with flies no matter where they are at. The flies actually clean the blood off of them once they are done eating.
