I refuse to pretend and honeyglaze this so called REMAKE. If any of you veterans recall, starting from ROTK 6 7 8 9 10, the series has been gradually giving us new interesting features, and actual good gameplays. But starting from ROTK 11 onwards every title is worse than it's previous installment. This remake is no different. This REMAKE is Koei trying to produce something at lowest of budgets, yet high at price. They are selling us "Galleries of Artworks" I'm telling you, not "Gameplays". The team already have a bunch of well drawn potraits and artworks from their previous title's assets, and all they need to focus on was "Gameplay improvements, and interesting features". Instead, they gave us new portraits with a small AI movements. How is it makes sense, when all you want is a good game, instead they sell you "Artworks"? If you want to play "Artworks"; those typical gacha waifu games look better compared to this.
One of the main things that made game so good in first place was the hot seat. It's insane that they got rid of it i also can't help but think the battle maps look weird and jues much less colourful in the remake for no good reason.
@@notalot22 There is no option in the Settings menu to switch languages in the Steam/PC version. Not sure on PS5 and Switch; hopefully someone can confirm. If not, then for sure he misspoke in the review.
No multiplayer kinda ruined it for me, i love playing several characters in 1 gameplay and not getting bored with just 1, my goal is to have fun with the game mechanics etc and not fast forward conquering everything, gonna wait until discount or PUK if they bring it back.
I have the last one that is available on console, the loading times are kinda insane even on series x and the lack of understandable tutorial is stopping me from getting into it. I do love the artwork and options that i do see though.
For the genre I'd always recommend pc over console. They make strategy games to played on pc, and make them work on console. This goes double for koei. I think the pc version of this game will get better and longer support. But that's just me guessing.

First what is a balanced stat point distribution for a brand new custom officer? I noticed it starts all stats off at base 50 so is 250 in total a good starting point? Meaning if i wanted to set strength to 40 and putting 10 points into something else would keep my characture balanced? Also i noticed it lets me change my abilities (tactics/skilld) should i keep all of those with no levels in them? Do i earn levels into them through gameplay? I mostly want to make my own unique characture and bring it up eventually to becoming the leader without making my characture overpowered/underpowered. If anyone has some suggestions i would genuinely appreciate it. Edit: also what does setting my greed to selfless do exactly?

While I love this game from what I played I enjoy it so far the lost of Multiplayer feels like it’s more of a next installment of Romance and not a Remake of one tho still good this Game feels more like Romance X than Romance 8 in reality and X was the best one I do hope at some point they do remake Romance X but the Remake is Great to say the least

Its ok, we can tell the truth that excluding coop or MP was a lazy and bad idea. We can tell the truth and still play the game and enjoy it. He also thinks that you can control more than one unit at a time in the original. You had to control a single officer at a time in the original too. You get to move all units (one at a time) if you are the ruler, or commander of the forces.
Um there really scraping the bottom of the barrel for remake content over at Koei Tecmo, maybe they should remaster the first three DOA fighting games at least those would sell. I highly doubt this is going to make a profit for them.

Having no Chinese voice acting dampened the game for me more than I was expecting. Am enjoying the Remake overall, just unfortunately not as much.
