It's crazy how cleetus helped a bunch of his friends start a RUclips channel and your the only one I see still going and killing it at that. I always look forward to your videos. Keep up the great content
If I was you I would have went through it even though a friend knows the history of it I would have definitely still done a good thorough look before putting it in the truck
That’s a great learning point for newer techs. Always diagnose to the root of the problem do not speculate or get caught up thinking because an ending e is known for a problem that it’s always that problem. Diagnose all the way and never skip steps
Solid channel I agree 👍 but less burnouts and mud stuff (I'm not saying get rid of them but less focus) and more racing events /drag and drive events would help allot.
That blue anodizing would come off with a little oven cleaner. Just spray, let it sit a minute and it comes right off.....or like you said,it's fairly hidden. Hope this one turns out good for ya.
big thank you for the videos, love them all ,can not waite to see that green/blue frame put to gether what ever it may become. and can not waite to see this truck that you and justin are working on do its thing!
Soooo lemme get this RIGHT......somebody spent 40k on a wagler motor but yet they pulled it out and sold it......bc it was still good?????? Hahahahaha man you don't fucking learn man! You better cross your toes this one holds together.....id hate to have to tell.....I TOLD YA SO......in a few months!
Why rebuild this truck instead of just building the super sick tube chassis sitting on the side by the mud truck. That’s goin to be epic but it’s always hurler sitting there.
Love your content mate I'm from Perth Western Australia 🇦🇺 I love thrashin cars and bikes and stuff but we have no where near the crazy big stuff you guys get to mess around with except for SKID CARS😂😂. You and Cleetus cracked me up yous fuck around with each other. Fuckin send it brother🤘🤘🤘
The oil pump gear will spin and shear the pin just like the damper and the crank gear. You were turning her pretty high with that s400,Check and see if the oil pump gave up I’m super curious. What did rod bearings look like? Come on man you’re killing us, rip her down a little more. What the hell let’s learn what happened without a doubt. Either way awsome new motor super excited for you, can’t wait to see it rip.
Wagler makes some DOPE products, if it was built correctly she will be a gem. We need more DirtyMax content to balance out all your powerstroke fun lately Also does that new motor have the crank keyed or the firing order changed?
Seems like we hear this bad of the baddest engine builder engine alot. You still haven't found one that you haven't blown up yet. Maybe this is the one? Hmmm....
You working on a spare motor or parts for this truck yet? Drag racing is hard on gear and you’re absolutely going to hurt this motor eventually. Comes with the drag racing territory, and waiting for a machine shop to fix your engine sucks.
Not a big diesel guy but anyone know the reason for the what I believe was two piece valve covers? Other than maintenance without fully removing it. Seems weird but definitely looks sweet
How much does this change the budget for it being a cheap build? I mean we know it’s stupid to ask you about anything reliable you can’t build anything that doesn’t break almost instantly
Hey, JH, great video, you and Justin are killing it. I love to see this truck again, I myself a fan of the bow tie trucks, this looks like is going to be a reaper. Also can you give us an update on the mega racing truck, which is sitting there for a while, I remember when you went to pick it up with Justin from the fabrication shop.
I wouldn’t mind seeing a pro street build plus if you gut it tye can weld stuff and hopefully the other white single cab mud truck project can get started soon
i have a 7.3 sitting with a blown HG till i fix it. guess i should fully drain the oil/ coolant mix and leave it sit or leave it sit with it in it? advice? thinking drain her and leave it sit in my shop where its been sitting with my other projects
Ive seen stock duramax oil pumps strip the gear, and also have seen the nut that holds the gear to the pump back off and obviously causes a loss of oil pressure.
It's crazy how cleetus helped a bunch of his friends start a RUclips channel and your the only one I see still going and killing it at that. I always look forward to your videos. Keep up the great content
Really ? Who were they?
Cooper is still around granted mostly podcasts at the moment... hope fasterproms makes a comeback..
Yea
Boosted boiz
What about Kevin with KSR? 🤨
sick! can't wait for the rest of this build.
Much love from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦
I'm from Ontario Canada too lol
Same!
Hi, from Medicine hat, Alberta :)
I’m from British Coulmbia as well
Ontario in the house 🇨🇦
If I was you I would have went through it even though a friend knows the history of it I would have definitely still done a good thorough look before putting it in the truck

I can’t help but notice the black and orange trans on the ground, Ultimate transmission by chance?!
Justin is one hell of a worker
Show us that purple 1st gen!
Brother I just can't figure out why this channel doesn't grow you all are always very entertaining
Solid channel I agree 👍 but less burnouts and mud stuff (I'm not saying get rid of them but less focus) and more racing events /drag and drive events would help allot.
What injectors did it have? Lly based?
Starting to get to many projects
Yall should wrap this truck black and green maybe do a tribute to the og dually
Not a blue guy got a mud truck with a blue frame lol
What that other truck with just a cab sitting next to it
“Im not a blue guy” but my guys got a blue mud truck frame..😂
Maybe we missed the sarcasm but I thought the same thing. 😂
Shit happens when you party naked.
This truck was built and broke so quickly I totally didn’t recognize/remember it at first. 😅 looking forward to version 2.0!
Ditto.
lol. Yah. It was a quick one. Really didn’t plan on that happening the way it did. 😂
Gm things.
“I’m not a blue guy” yet has the 6.0 mud trucks frame powdered blue 😂
Looks like Cleet picked you to finish last again, we know what happened last time he did that.
We need that 4 door blue square body on boggers in the back
Nice shout out for your right hand man Justin. Guy does good work.
The blue four-door square body in the background Mr jh I need to get that going I'd love to see a video of that looks like a mean looking truck
He’s talked about it before, it’s a buddies truck. Maybe he’ll sell it to JH one of these days…or at least decide it’s time to build it! 🙂
Put the broken Duramax in that blue crew cab square body.
We (Hoosier Hills Performance Engineering/HHPE) can’t wait to see you guys continue to progress and push this build!! 💪💪
MY MISTAKE THANKS FOR EXPLAINING THAT MAN NOW YOUR MAKING SENSE LOL
Glad ya pulled that outta the weeds to get some more duramax content in the works
STOP ALL WORK IMMEDIATELY. Get that shop cleaned up, inside and out!
JH and Justin, y'all rock! Peace
Always good when you see a JH video, pop up
That blue anodizing would come off with a little oven cleaner. Just spray, let it sit a minute and it comes right off.....or like you said,it's fairly hidden. Hope this one turns out good for ya.
100 percent that was due to total oil loss/starvation.
I want to see you smash Wyatt from boosted boys JH come on bro
big thank you for the videos, love them all ,can not waite to see that green/blue frame put to gether what ever it may become. and can not waite to see this truck that you and justin are working on do its thing!
Not a blue guy but 80% your fleet is blue oval and one with a big ole blue frame. Haha
Not sure how rust on the rods could cause the mains to go out. Looks like a loss of oil pressure to me.
....cars come n go.....but 5 second glory lives forever.....❤️🇺🇲
Soooo lemme get this RIGHT......somebody spent 40k on a wagler motor but yet they pulled it out and sold it......bc it was still good?????? Hahahahaha man you don't fucking learn man! You better cross your toes this one holds together.....id hate to have to tell.....I TOLD YA SO......in a few months!
Didn't you show us a nice square body dually in the far right bay a few years ago? Maybe build this dmax for that truck
Why rebuild this truck instead of just building the super sick tube chassis sitting on the side by the mud truck. That’s goin to be epic but it’s always hurler sitting there.

What kind and year of duramax engine is it? Lb7,lly, Lbz etc.. will you tell us in your next video please!!
"The slowest this truck will ever run again"....
Why would you curse yourself like that? Haven't you learned to not tempt any mechanical object yet?
The oil pump gear will spin and shear the pin just like the damper and the crank gear. You were turning her pretty high with that s400,Check and see if the oil pump gave up I’m super curious. “I’m not a blue guy”
What colors the frame in the background?😂
Can’t wait to see this thing run!
Totally forgot this truck 😂 Jesus but nice to see all the vehicles getting worked on
How much does this change the budget for it being a cheap build? I mean we know it’s stupid to ask you about anything reliable you can’t build anything that doesn’t break almost instantly
"I'm not a blue guy." Couldn't help but notice the frame on your megga truck...
Why this channel doesn't have over a million subs is mind boggling
Not everyone likes the content it's not hard to figure out 😂😂. Can't force them to like something.
I just got my first diesel. 04 6.6 duramax now I'm ready for some upgrades
I love the duramax content! Please keep it up there's not a lot of duramax videos on RUclips so this is awesome!!
Gee I don’t know why my 350k engine spun its mains when I stuffed it with boost 🤣🤙🏻🍻
Shoot they break when they are stock. I have down three duramax engines and i work for Chrysler.
You coming to tailgate n tall boys/mudfest in taylorville, IL this year?
Yes, I can't wait to see the truck. Perform.
Now this is something I can get behind. Even tho it’s diesel. What’s going on with the electric car/fishing boat?
Why does GM's aluminum always look like it's been at the bottom of the ocean. I get it's úsed but Dry-Ice thé damn thing.
Who's crew cab square body is in the back ground? Is it for sale?
If i were you, I'd pull the pan on this engine and replace all the main and cam bearings so that you dont spin the bearings on the new engine.
I really wish you were closer. I would have you work on my 6.0 Powerstroke!
Block and crank were .30 over... bearings were std....?
You don’t like blue?? Your whole frame of your mud truck is blue?
We need to see jh burnout 6oh and r3 burnout 6oh compete in a few challenges
Those spun bearings is what you call smoked.
Well every diesel engine you or anybody else builds and runs the piss out of dies really fast , so I’ll stick to old ls chevys
How fast were you going in the tractor to get bug splats like that?? 😂😂
You should turn it into an alcohol burning diesel engine like in the tractor pulling industry
JH and JUstin rock the air waves with a new build. Justin needs a raidse😢.
Isn’t the frame of the mega-truck blue?
Not a blue guy ? What ab all he blue frame powder coat on the other truck lol
Better time management video under 20 mins Yee Yee brother
He's not a blue guy....what about that big blue frame for the mudd bro
“I’m not a blue guy” yet the entire frame on the other truck is all blue lol
You're turning me into a diesel guy... 😂
Cleet has Lee Roy, Kyle has E Roy, You need D Roy.
Like your colours brother is it lime green or my eyes are shot
Finally building a race truck!
Come on people like share subscribe
should change the timelapse music gets annoying fast make want to turn ur video off. or watch it in mute.
talking about the guitar metal rock song
Put the old motor in the cucv
Forgot about the drag truck
Love the tear down content.
R I P Wagler engine
bad oil pump or maybe the oil pump drive gear key pin sheared or broken oil pump?
Not a blue guy? Have you seen your mud truck color combo????😂😂😂
Or his last shop truck he gave away
Hey, JH, great video, you and Justin are killing it. I love to see this truck again, I myself a fan of the bow tie trucks, this looks like is going to be a reaper. Also can you give us an update on the mega racing truck, which is sitting there for a while, I remember when you went to pick it up with Justin from the fabrication shop.
I'm seeing a lot of blue sitting next to you for someone not liking blue.😅
Prolly gonna be my favorite truck when it’s all said and done .
I wouldn’t mind seeing a pro street build plus if you gut it tye can weld stuff and hopefully the other white single cab mud truck project can get started soon
Rebuild the old engine and put it in the old M1008 military truck and bog it.
i have a 7.3 sitting with a blown HG till i fix it. guess i should fully drain the oil/ coolant mix and leave it sit or leave it sit with it in it? advice? thinking drain her and leave it sit in my shop where its been sitting with my other projects
Listen justin, i came here to give you a view and like because i think your a good guy. However im gonna leave now. Later lol
Ive seen stock duramax oil pumps strip the gear, and also have seen the nut that holds the gear to the pump back off and obviously causes a loss of oil pressure.
Definitely oil pump failure 😂
100 percent.
What are the chances a Ford guy put that Duramax together at some point and had some extra FE or Y block paint laying around?
I don’t even remember seeming this truck at all! And I’ve been here since the channel dropped
What fans are those? Going to electric on my rcsb lly,
