Meanwhile I'm watching this on a T410 I got for $25 that has a 1st gen i5, 4gb ram, and an ssd that I installed. The only issue is that the bios is locked but its relatively easy to bypass from what I know and I also plan on putting in 8gb of ram and maybe a first gen i7
Tho chance it would be a good idea to upgrade to windows 10 or 11 because other older windows update end it’s support so sometimes older windows if you use legacy update it will update as long as it does oh chance are you using a SSD or no if not the reason it’s beeping if that ram is not right and you have to use a SSD because it works better for higher GB DDR3 rams and make sure you get the SATA input SSD Amazon has one with 1TB
NO. YOU ARE DEFENELY NOT AWARE THAT OLD WINDOWS IS BETHER. YOU DONT NEED UPDATES. WINDOWS 11 DOESNT EXIST, AND WINDOWS 10 IS CRAP, ONLY RUNS WELL ON MODERN HARDWARE. I HAD WINDOWS 10 1909 AND 21H2 ON MY HP 655 AND IT WAS TERRIBLE TO USE. THE LAPTOP WAS MADE FOR WINDOWS 8.1 IN 2014

Try looking for a BIOS update or a modified BIOS. Then it might work.
i have an old HP 655 curently running Windows 10 1507. i partialy have it as my main laptop. i prefer it over my Lenovo laptop
