@@annanas8162 when the baby pushes, some type of chemical is released that tells the body to make contractions to help the baby come out. But if the baby is out already, there's no stimulation --> no contractions. It's more complicated than that, but this is a simplified version. I just wanted to put this info out there anyway.

3:00 If Clifford the big red dog was fixed too early that would kinda explain why he was overgrown. If you neuter or spay a dog too early they don’t stop growing until much later. We got one dog back from an owner who clearly didn’t give a shit about the contract an neutered him at 6-8 months instead of waiting until at least 14 months when he’d be almost done growing. Unfortunately now, instead of being the size of a muscular Rhodesian Ridgeback, he’s now the size of a Great Dane with poor bone structure and practically osteoporosis with how he’s proportioned, but he’s fucking huge and could chest bump anyone and knock their ass down in his prime before his rear broke on him. He’s still got a big chest but with how long his spine is and the damage he’s had to it and his hips he’s got bad muscle wasting.
P.s. For those that care, he is still happy with his life and we’re doing our best to make him as comfortable as possible. He can walk on his own still but he’s a bit wobbly and can’t turn tight corners or really run but he kinda hop around like a bunny with his two back legs working together. He’s still my best boy.)
My dog has a sibling with a similar story. So she and her siblings were rescues, I don’t know what happened exactly, but I know that much. When we got her, we noticed she would sit basically collapsed on one leg with the other sitting out really loose. And when she’d stand next to you, she’d lean on you. Turns out her back legs, while strong, falter because she has something wrong with her hip. She has a sister who has to wear a wheelchair. Another sister had one back leg problem. But her brother got fixed at the time of his rescue by some owners who took him as soon as he was cleared to be adopted. So there’s a noticeable difference in size between him and his sisters, and he wobbles and pauses in his steps. They’re all Yorkshire Terrier and Jack Russel Terrier mixes.
