Dieng to Nepal van Java - Gunung Sumbing Hiking - Central Java volcano and highlands

- On this trip across the amazing island of Java, Indonesia I ride my motorbike across the central highlands. Firstly visiting and camping in Dieng Plateau - and then heading to the incredible place called "Nepal Van Java" or Dusun Butuh. This is the basecamp for climbing the impressive Mount Sumbing.
The town of Nepal van java is totally unique, its located high on the slopes and built onto the hillside and its really steep. But I the scariest part was taking an Ojek. (local motorbike taxi) up the side of the mountain to the first Post (Pos 1) - This was insane, driving up steep, slippery, thin rocky roads and we couldn't stop otherwise we would slip down. Extremely crazy!

@@IndoWild Java main road from west to east is saparated by two main road...(non toll road )
North line road ...( Pantura/pantai Utara )
And south line Road .. ( pansela /pantai selatan )
Luckyly...on every road has view to offer ...specially south road...
Right the side of coast line...
Seaview is clear ..
Im realy reccomending....
Batukaras ... Is good spot to stop..
Many foreigner explore the beauty of the beach and the wave...(surfing).

Most of my travels through Java were in the north road.. I didn’t like it. Crazy crazy crazy truck and bus drivers. I was very scary!

That why I m reccomending the south road...more quite bigger road a little warm because near by coast...
But the road is good slide smooth wider no bumpy also alittle longger than north road ..
All vehicle mostly riding by north road because its shorter and faster to get through cross the Java island.
Also south road has great view of the coast line...you can stop anytime enjoying the view...
Suggestion....avoid riding at night..
Latest at 7-8 pm Will be good/save.
Not because the road is not save ...
But Its because just incase has problem or struggle with the vehicle/bike or maybe ran of the gass in the middle on the road ... And seen no body for ask help or advice...
Fruit and more water its much helping as my experience riding long distance trip by bike (touring).
