Rules for Moving your Stop Loss to Breakeven | FOREX

- Hello fanatics!
After having 3 breakeven trades this week that later hit take profit, I got inspired to actually introduce a couple of rules into my trading plan about breakeven management. I decided to create this video and give some fundamental tips on trade management, so you can further perfect your trading plan and more specifically - the trade management section of it! I really hope this video will be beneficial and you will have some valuable takeaways!

Quick question? Is the sl management on the same entry timeframe?
Great question, to which I do not really have an answer to. Stop loss management is personal to every trader. I personally try not to manage my SL at all, becayse the moment I manage it - something happens haha. So when you take a trade, accept it and let it play out, without choking it. I'd say I would go breakeven only when the market is very close to my Take Profit or has absoutely no reason or sense to return back to my entry.

A really good strategy!!! I usually take a big partial at 1:4 RR
Lets assume RR 1:1
Im selling at lowest low
And give market to try my highest high ( risk )
If it fail then im winning 50%
They penetrated my stoploss then im losse

That is a good point. I am not sure if it's good to sell at lowest low though haha! But it really makes sense. Your SL has to be very huge though, but of course it depends on the timeframe.

When you draw, you hold Shift on your keyboard. And it draws it straight.

Hey, Iliya why have you changed from an intraday trader to a scalper?
I wouldn't say scalper. I take 2-3 trades a day. Not sure if that is scalping. I just utilize the lower timeframes to get a pinpoint entry.
