- Promix 01 has motorized volume faders which is accessable over midi. Using a remote control function in Cubase 6.5. Read and write are supported and everything is mappable.
In this movie I already had existing mixer automation data that's why the track 5-6 where I have got the drums...jumps to zero all the time.

Well İ made it work!!! But is not as you said, plug it in and that's it! I spent 4 hours today... You need to set the cubase and mixer... I will upload shortly a video, with a tutorial how to do this! Save me buying a presonus faderport 16!!! For all those who has this Yamaha promixer or promix 1, it would be fun!!! Thanks for not telling us how to set this... 😜😡

How did you achieve the midi feed back for fader movement to the Promix - can this be achieved from Presonus Studio One

To je točno. Ja samo koristiti Promix 01 kao kontrolne površine sa Cubase. Dakle, ja mogu snimiti kako motorizirani faders premjestiti preko midi. Nema zvuka prolazu Promix 01 .... samo midi informacije voditi grede.

zdravo. ja imam jedan problem u povezivanju mix i pc-a preko usb kabla. mix je yamaxa pro 1 ovakva kao kod tebe a koristim cubase 5 program pa me interesuje treba li kakav drajver ili mozda firewire kartica u pc. mozes li mi pomoci???

Thomas Csabi, I used a simple USB based midi interface and then connected it to the Promix01. (Which has midi)

Just to control the faders... But I can't make it work... I asked him... But no replay 😔
Is not a sound card... Only will work as fader controller... But much better than using a mouse... I just made it work today... NO info at all anywhere... But I have been 4 hours and work... I will shortly upload a video to show everyone how to do this!

Žao nam je drug. Promix01 pokrenuti samo standardni midi vezu. Ja sam voziti M-Audio Midisport sučelja. USB> Midi. Ako želite pokrenuti Promix 01 kao zvučnu karticu na računalo, nećeš!

znaci koristis nesto dodatno. nemoze znaci direktno kabal midi-usb iz mix u pc

You can for sure..it is only midi information which is controling the mixer. So you can both record midi with events from the mixer...and replay it against the mixer. I sold my ProMix 01 some years ago...great mixer!
