I sang in St George’s Chapel (in Windsor Castle) last Saturday..it was hugely successful (famous people there too!). Our wonderful 16 yr old pianist, Ryan Wang, was outstanding playing Rachmaninov’s 2nd piano concerto. He will be famous one day (if he isn’t already! See him on RUclips)…I know, nothing to do with embroidery but it’s my other passion.

Jenny...I went with my sister when she had her stem cell transplant and we were both pleasantly surprised that she felt fine through all of it. Her Dr. was even more surprised to find the two of us dancing in her room! It has been almost 9 years and she's had no issues or recurrences. Best wishes.
This is good to hear, Amy. Unfortunately, this is the 2nd stem cell transplant for Hayley. The first, from her brother 100% match - did not work. So, let’s hope this second time round is the ONE! Xx

Thank you Jennifer as always for sharing your snippets time and lovely birdsong with us. That Butcher bird had perfect timing. He was announcing You with a big TaDa! You have got me into the habit now of having a snippets time of my own. Early morning when all is quiet I used to read, now I stitch. I agree about perfection, I am enjoying my stitching so much more now I have stopped being so critical and worrying about every stitch. My husband had his stem cells harvested about a year ago. He has cancer and we took this preemptive action in case they are needed in the future. It is definitely a a complicated process that takes several days to complete. I pray it is a successful outcome for your daughter-in-law. ❤
Sorry to hear about your husband, Deb. My daughter-in-law is the donor. Her youngest sister has leukaemia- this will be her second stem-cell transplant 😢

Thank you God. I got my Jennifer fix. I'm starting to live by"start where you are, use what you have". I live in a mountain town 3,4hr drive to the nearest needlework shop. My friends in town love it when I call and say "if I send you a check, would you go shop for me, please? Here's what I need. "
