Medical Device Animation: Heartware System LVAD Pump

- Medical Device Animation excerpt. We created this heart device animation to introduce cardiothoracic surgeons and strategic partners to the HeartWare System, its use and key competitive advantages. It was important to clearly illustrate the pump’s proprietary suspension system, which eliminates wear. To focus viewer attention, we rendered the system and heart photorealistically and used a simpler illustrative style for supporting elements. Created for: HeartWare International
What I find most amazing about this, look how complex and fantastic this bit of design engineering is and yet the human body does this automatically from birth for 80 plus years, amazing
This is the creation of Allah sobhan allah .allah do every thing
سبحان الله
I really wish your numbers were accurate. They are not. The number of qualified candidates in the US awaiting a heart transplant increased by 42.6% over 2008 to 2009, from 5,304 to 7,562.
Of these only a small percentage live past one year, of those that do many will not live past 5 years.
The reason for the increase is varied, but pollution is a large contributor. Stress is a huge reason. We push ourselves to have the most ..to have the biggest best cars, houses, etc. Then we don't live long enough to enjoy it. People really need to learn what's important in their lives. I'm a 67 year old woman. I have been a vegetarian for 38 years, don't drink or smoke. I do daily yoga, meditation. I look pretty darn good from the outside....but I had a major heart attack almost two years ago, resulted in a triple bypass....and now I have recently learned I have diastolic dysfunction... heart failure. It is hereditary. Nothing to be done, I couldn't prevent what was coming. So no, it would be truly amazing if our hearts lasted from birth to the magic age of 80. Most of us will not see that number. I do hope some younger and older people will realize there are consequences for their actions. Slow down, learn to slow each day down...there are not an unlimited number of days. ❤

Finally, Turbo Heart
Exactly my thoughts LOL
so you are saying that i can get a turbo on my heart? damn
I would want a giant blow-off valve to go with it.
For 100000$? Of course
@@OchnnichtI have heart problems they want to do an ablation for a huge sum of 300k,I already feel guilty for my stents,I'm going to try and ride it out without the ablation.
Yeah but can it handle antilag?
My brother just died after having this in April died August 7 th,57 yrs.old, some do good,be sure you have a good care giver,
How long did he have it in him

This technology is amazing, sorry to hear about your brother I'm 60 yrs old just spent 8 nights in the hospital I have hf they used an impella pump to help my heart while they placed 2 stents so I can kinda understand what your brother faced😢A marvelous invention it seems better than a heart transplant worth a try at possibly living longer.
😢 Sorry for your loss. I'm doing as much research as possible to save my brother.
waiting for the wireless charging platform housing units with slip on shoes
I'm not so sure of having a magnetically driven medical device, especially for something like the heart. What about magnetic interference?
It's worth a try when the options have run out,but taxpayers foot the bill in other countries you just die.
My sister just got one of those.
turbo boost heart?
Yes
Vroooom ~ Pssssssss ~
turbocharged human
Wow I can't believe it
Mechanical intervntion is not switble fr biological body..
Well the alternative is death you cretin. So how's that for not suitable?
Hello, I would like to use this video for a school Project in a Presentation. is that possible?
Julia, that is totally fine. Generally, any time you want to use RUclips content for business or monetary gain, that's when you have to get permission.
I am late, but I'd like to add that fair use permits use of copywritten content for educational purposes without needing permission 😊
This must be a older version?
Thank you lord
so cool
Ciao a Tutti
Il Migliore hospital per mettere questo?
Rare ain't alot in stock.
Imagine someone scalping these, just like the PS5
Expensive!
why is the bottom a turbo
That's the ventricle that pumps blood throughout the body!
This system is not good for my opinion because I always carry battery set it’s like weird
If it's batteries,or death most people don't want to die when the time comes,so the awkwardness of batteries seems better than an early death?
Ma é vita!!!

Once a person has this, the clock starts ticking. Death arrives between 4 to 7 years after this is put. 7 years for best case scenario. Common problems are infections, leaks, and rejection. When the cost of putting and maintaining this is compounded with the problems associated with this device, it is not worth the extra time of life you get.
It is extremely expensive to perform and maintain this as you mentioned. While what you have said is true, I regularly performed transthoracic echocardiography on LVAD patients. You would be surprised how many patients actually went beyond 10 years since date of implantation
Not worth the extra time of life well that’s rich.... my uncle wouldn’t be here only for this device so it’s a miracle bit of equipment and the support teams with it are unreal and people are greatful that there family’s can talk to them rather than look at a head stone
@@shaneyboy4607 I am happy you guys still have your uncle around. I hope this gives you guys extra time to do all those little sweet things with your uncle. I lost my dad when I was in high school, and that was devastating. I haven't seen anyone make it past 8 years after this is put. Rich or poor the machine doesn't care.
@@alphainfinitum3445 yeah but it’s also used as a device to bridge the gap for people to get a transplant and live well long over 8 years so I think your a little harsh with the way you say the device ain’t worth the extra life time
People who think they know more than seasoned medical professionals are generally incorrect in their thinking.
