Hot here in Brisbane too. Unfortunately we only have the unappealing muddy waters of southern Moreton Bay to cool off in - think I'll have a shower instead.
Yeah I’m not sure if they are grassies. They look very similar but they don’t have any blue around the eyes. I’ve heard people call them all different names.
Yeah I thought that to but if you look on those fishing charts that have the pictures and size limits there is a whole bunch of snapper that are only 25cm minimum. Darktail snapper, five line snapper etc.. Gets confusing when everything says different.
@@jradventures693 i just did a quick ggole mate and thats what came up but good to know. With the eye of reef app upload the photo and it comes back as to what it is and legal size. The app is free too
Water looks so clear and inviting

Happy weekend my friend
Redspot emperor I think mate.
Thank you.
Great vid mate. Those fish you kept getting are grassy sweetlip, one of the best table fish. I target them on shallow reef during summer.
Nah not grassies mate. Pretty sure they’re a red spot emperor.

According to eye on the reef app its a grass emperor size is 30 cms and apparently they are good eating.
