- Hello everyone. the topic is Mclean's technique and hindle's modification of it. now this technique is one of the most commonly asked in exams and also in viva. this is one of the dual functional impression technique which means you take two impression that is anatomical and other is functional in distal extension cases..i hope you will find this video helpful. thank you.

Mam while you taking the first impression, only taken with green stick ?
Not with ZoE ?
Coz in CD we also take..with ZOE also
I Got confused
1st do the border molding with green stick, then the 1st impression that is being spoken in the video is of ZOE material.
Zoe impression is taken.. She missed that... it is taken and over that we place alginate loaded stock tray to get pick up impression.

Mam what is the use of stopper ?
While in complete denture.. after boarder moulding we take secondary impression with zoe. And its important to see all the four stopper ? Why?
Stoppers are used to avoid excessive pressure that is to avoid excessive compression on tissues like as the name says stoppers so it stops that excessive pressure and yes green stick is just border molding but the main secondary impression is done with ZOE.. so yes you use ZOE also though I didn’t mentioned it in the video but secondary impression is done with that only.. you can see in that picture of pickup impression where first impression is embedded that it is covered with ZOE
