You guys are a phenomenal pair. I love you give attention to these small films, and hey, A24 has never disappointed me in delivering stunning films.
I work at Walt Disney World and I live less than 5 miles from where they shot this. It is my neighborhood. Not sure I could handle this right now. But I know I'll watch it someday.
You're not alone in any of that. First time I saw this trailer, and later watched the film, I freaked out sort of.
That's a gorgeous, moving trailer. I teared up, too.
Just saw the movie and I NEEDED TO SEE what people thought of this film. It's amazing, and I love the insight and excite that you're giving off!
Sam is Dead watch Sean Baker's other movies like Tangerine or Scarlet. its beautiful too. 👌
As an adult it's easy to look at things we used to do as kids and suggest those things to new generations, but this film really captures the stillness of childhood and the elements of unknowing and 'what now' feeling.
I was in love with each of the characters at the end of the film, worried for them, but can understand the difficulty that life throws at you and understand why they don't 'just do xyz' to escape the circumstances of poverty and the system.

Lucky for you guys, I helped get course assessment requirements at my university altered, meaning that students can now submit video essays instead of boring old double-spaced Word documents.
This is lucky for you because I have one of these essays due this semester, and hey, why not re-purpose the assessment for Breaking Banter right?

I was just smiling throughout this whole trailer yesterday, it looks I N C R E D I B L E! Been waiting a long time, and god A24 just keep on delivering. Loved your reaction, as always. Even though you can be so exited, you guys always brings the excitement to a new level! I'm thinking best movies of 2017 will be Call Me by Your Name, A Ghost Story, The Florida Project, Get Out, MOTHER!!!, and crossing fingers for legends of paper 3 to come through with a masterpiece, and also a little snowman!

This has the worst ending to a film I’ve ever seen
Big fan of A24 and really wanted to like this film but I didn't. Those annoying spoiled kids never shut up and the storyline goes nowhere. It's a grotesque portrayal of America at its lowest. Don't waste your time or money!
I get where you're coming from but it's also pretty realistic that stuff happens everyday on the fringes of society and in spite of Halley's General ineptitude as a parent she still loves her daughter a great deal. And also showed Bobby who was also in the same mix as everyone else as a genuinely kind and decent man trying to do what he could in the chaos. So I saw an uplifting element to a but that could just be me.
