This is a 2 minute long video that just tells me to ask my band director because they know stuff. This video helped me in no way whatsoever.

I feel like I just asked a stranger what time it was and they made me wait while they looked in every pocket for their phone and then said "oops! I got a call, sorryyyyy! But hey, there's a train station over that way, maybe check with them!"

so... it's just marketing. just trying to get our information so you can sell your products via email or phone.
but trying to not make it obvious by saying just talk to your child's band director.
    did not help at all.

Unfortunately, bumps and dings can actually affect the valves' ability to slide properly, which will result in a very frustrating learning experience that could result in a kid just giving up on music entirely, even if they originally had a lot of aptitude or enthusiasm. I'm not saying don't but secondhand ever, just be sure to try it and make sure it actually works well if that's the route you go. Be prepared to know how to take the whole thing apart and inspect it for sticking or corrosion before you put down any money for it.
