Ik this was the worst dunk contest ever but if ur gonna complain about traveling & repeat dunks pls don’t watch some of the greatest dunks ever… dr j free throw dunk from 1975 or Jordan who repeated himself did 2 free throw dunks & won in 88 bc u probably h8 them too🤣 but you’re also probably like 14
This is quite long, so bare with me. This is a general overview of the dunk contest and it so happens that this the worst year to prove my point on how the dunk contest works lol! I know they were epic years (2016, 2000 for example) and good years (when Blake, Nate and Dwight were there). I wrote in the description some of the things I didnt like and wrote that reiterated dunks should evolve once (although, Im adding right now maybe twice or three times if ur really creative. Add a little tweak to it). The Vince Carter, Blake Griffin hanging on the rim dunk is a good reiterated dunk bcuz Blake hanged on the rim longer than Vince Carter. Repeated dunks should be used strategically to save a good dunk when someone else missed their dunk which Toscano did do when Cole missed his 360 dunk (it's annoying but it makes sense). In the 1st round, Cole Anthony did a off hand windmill with Tims and Jalen Green literally off the gate did the same dunk with his dominant hand and no handicap. Traveling is me just being nitpicky (and I probably should have wrote that) but I thought it was something worth pointing out! It is one of the lowest criteria to judge after all but not traveling increases the difficulty of the dunk. Lastly, are we really using the "ur probably X age" card to insult me? Come on @Jt, ur better than that.
This video was exactly what I was looking for and needed. Thank you lol
