Third generation of family drink problems.Plus wanting to fit in with stars he admired who drank hard.And directors have said he was one of those rare breeds ,an actor without an ego.He had little belief in himself that he was doing a good job.I feel if he n Bonnie had stayed together,she could have pulled him through.But not to be.RIP Jan,you will always be missed.
