Splendid presentation ~ The Shot Above ~ is absolutely breathtaking, well done Angel and friends. May I ask which lens did you use for "The Shot Above" with that Z6III - and what lens for general landscape, travel, street photography do you prefer. I'm a huge Nikon fan. Do not have the Z6 III but getting aquainted with the Z6II at the moment. Many thanks and again 'Phenomenal' capture.!.
She uses a 14-24mm 2.8S but at 11:40 there is a Z8 with a 20mm 1.8S Not just a promo about the Z6III I guess. Fantastic journey and wonderful experience with Nikon gear..
I use the 14-24mm 2.8 for everything landscape and the 20mm when it comes to astro and sky 🙂 and my main camera is the Z8 and I use my astro modified Z6 for stars!
Wow, first of all, congratulations! The quality of this video and the editing is absolutely incredible, far beyond what we’re used to seeing. The story is beautifully told, the storytelling is simply top-notch. It’s emotional, relatable, and captivating. You can truly feel the emotions, the fears, and the excitement of the journey, making it so easy to connect with Angelica and her adventure. The endorsement of Nikon is seamlessly integrated and very well done. I genuinely hope to see this partnership grow in the long term because, honestly, wow...just amazing work, Angelica! 🥳
Thank you SO much for this message and the love 🫶🏻 means a lot and I’m happy you enjoyed the film. If the emotions were felt and shared, then I guess it’s mission accomplished ☺️
I’ve come back here far too many times to watch and get inspired. Now, I’m grabbing my gear, attaching my tripod to my bag, and heading out for my next mountain adventure. Thanks for the inspiration! 🙂
Great video. It also proves that the Z6III is a jack of all trades. Really...Nikon has gifted the world a good product that excels at any given scenarios
This was such a breathtaking experience. The images, the sound, the talks, everything is inpiring. It feels like the shot has a beautiful and rich story within it, integrating Nikon in its narrative. The photographer makes us dream and it feels like I could be capable of capturing shots that would be amazing with such a camera. Thank you !
Yessss!!! I've been wanting to see more videos and marketing like this from Nikon for so long. Incredible video! Nikon cams are the absolute best for adventures (I spent three weeks hiking the Huayhuash and neighbouring trails around Huaraz with my Z8), and I'm so stoked to see this come out!
@ it’s an absolute beast. Beautiful work Angel! I’m super keen to learn more about composite work. I’m typically a single frame or stitch shooter, but your style is so compelling for many beautiful scenes.
@@SamBugasI would highly recommend at least trying to see how you feel about it! I understand it’s not a style for everyone but it shouldn’t prevent someone from trying if they feel it can help them bring a specific image to life 🙂
@@AngelFux I was just thinking that. I remember seeing the stars from 14,000 feet every night and felt like I could touch them. A good astro photography trip may be in the works now.
Tolle Bilder, tolles Team. Wahrscheinlich ohne so ein Team und die Unterstützung von verschiedenen Bergführern, ortskundigen Leuten und Nikon nicht möglich.
Is there someone else wondering who was behind the camera and who made the video? I mean, her story is great and her shots are astonishing, but I would like to know who was the guy or woman behind the video 👍.
I planned all scenes before the trip started and most of the shots where you don’t see me on camera were done by me. The ones where I’m standing in front of the camera however were captured by the people mentioned in the credits in the end 🙂 Ottilie was my right hand for this film and she did an amazing job at helping me fulfil this project 🙂
It's filmed as if Angel Fux is alone! A whole freaking movie unit! A place difficult to get to! Finally a creation with multi cameras, ideal weather. Nikon to be congratulated! But compared to Leica, a tiny company, that supports so many photographers with choices of sites! Amateurs professionals, It don't matter.I can post images not always 100% Leica. Nikon, Canon, Sony anf Fuji it's only about the dollar, yen, euro. Sad! wake up everybody! My 57 year main camera, used pro and personal photos, is always welcome. So if you out there wonder why Leica is so popular, see the places you can explore!
Great video, but it would’ve been great. If you guys would’ve shared with us what lenses she used, and if she shot an in n-log or sdr , and if she shot in n-raw or prores . Please Nikon, be a little more thorough. We’re looking at this video and we’re liking images, but we wanna know what lenses were used for each shots so we could buy them. Thank you.
Hey! Don't worry, all the gear used for both the film and the final image, as well as the EXIFs will be shared in the next days in an article dedicated to it :)
NIKON pls can you give me camera i am wildlife photographer from sri lanka , i like to improve my skils in wildlife photography but i have old Nikon camera 😀
1st world girl travels to a distant country where she emanates high fives after a non-tedious ascent. Nikon, why not use someone from Peru as the main character, for a change to "wohoo, we made it"?
Unsure which moment you’re talking about as there’s no lens cap on any of the footage where I hold the camera. Maybe the lens hood gives you that impression? And as a matter of fact, I even have the shots of those moments 🙂
I have the exact same setup, you definitely just brought the camera up to your eye and left the lens hood in the storage position and the lens cap is still attached, its protruding in front of the lens cap. 1:08
Simply wonderful! The Callejón de Huaylas in Huaraz is one of the most photogenic places in Peru. Greetings from Lima😍
These are the video’s of old that I LOVE seeing from Nikon!!! ❤
🙌🏻🙌🏻
Beautiful shot. You’re right, the planning, journey, failure, weather are all part of the image. Congrats!
It’s all part of it and it’s what make the final result what it is 🙂 thank you for the kind words!
Beautiful! Extremely well done
Thanks a lot!
This was absolutely incredible! I'm happy you returned to get the shot you had been dreaming of and share the moment with us!
Thank you for the kind words! And yes I’m glad I went back to fulfil it, a journey worth doing 😊

Amazing video!!
Such a cool story and very inspiring
Amazing , just beautiful! The sharpness the colors are mind blowing. May I ask what drone did you use to take the aerial shots? Absolutely gorgeous !!
Thanks! The aerial shots were taken with either a Mavic 3 Pro or the Mini 3 Pro 🙂
Awsome!

Amazing, follow your dreams 😃
Always ✨
I am shooting with Z6II and seeing not much difference … the locations are amazing … 🤩
I remember being at all those locations when I spent 15 days trekking around the Huayhuash. Unfortunately, I wasn't into photography back then.
Never too late to go back? 👀

Yes it is! Sky and landscape taken at different times but overall assembled in the same direction and perspective 🙂
Thank for for Sharing
Great Job. 👍

Absolutely. This is a collaborative effort that made it possible and I’m very grateful for it 🙂
❤️
Still waiting on Nikon to fix the flickering in NRAW for Z6 III. It’s been out for almost 6 months and nothing
When will you add the R3D codec to the Nikon Z6? I really hope this happens soon.
Fantastic. Just got this camera. For landscape photography but I would like more guides on the video formats and to use it in DaVinci 🙂👍
Amazing video. If only we could get better stabilisation 😊

Z6III ad but she only uses z8 the entire time ☺️
The Z6III was the filming camera, which is why you don’t see it on screen 🙂 the Z8 is my main camera body for landscape photography!
