I loved that alcohol ink washi tape background for your card. The orange from underneath really gave it depth and purple and brown and orange do go together. It's hard to believe that the washi tape stayed on your chair for so long, that's amazing. I usually have corners peeling up. Great ideas.
You are so wonderfully chaotic and creative. You often surprise me with the end result. You are an inspiration to just be yourself. I love your channel :-)
Not all washi tape will keep for years. If it keeps ripping length-wise when you're pulling it from the roll, you can usually remove it in one piece by heating it up as you're releasing it. You might need glue to adhere it reliably, but if you really wanted to use that tape, it's a solution.
I have a TON of washi. Thanks for the ideas. I will say that I also have dead gift cards in my crafty stash; they make great scrapers. And I have one a couple of Altenew's wide washi, and I have found that they are great for going over panels you make that you don't love; they be one muted background color to the pretty patter 😄
Laurel, I think most of us have tons of 7:20 tape, I looked at mine today , all crammed into the corner in my craft room, wondering what to do with it, it’s so pretty, but want sure what to do with it. Well, you magically filled my brain with ideas, hoooray for you Laurel🎊🎉
I never succumbed to the washi thing... probably only because it was never readily accessible to me ...but I do have some cheap rolls... in fact it dried out and I cannot peel it off itself on the roll. so a room decor item they will stay lol! Luckily i have LOADS of ribbon and a few of your ideas can be done with that swap!! Yay! Feel better!
I use my washi tape as a band across my cards or to decorate inside. I also use some the same way I use the brand: glue them across your card to make a pattern like a quilt, diagonals, etc. I have seen someone (I think it was Patty B but not sure) make a bottle holder with some of them: you take 3-4 together and make a tower, glue them together, make a few towers and glue all of them together. Pretty. For this last one, I would only use the ones I can no longer unroll otherwise it's a waste. I use them in my bullet journal to make columns. My husband has used my stash to make Kanban and other stuff similar for the courses he teaches. TFS, Nicole
I made a trip here to YT, just to find out “what the heck is washi tape?” What an amazing demo you gave here, to introduce me to this cool craft! I seriously need to do some research on all that I’ve been missing out on! Thanks so much! ✌🏼🇨🇦
Nice things!! I put a seasonal tape as decoration on my MacBook. We rent a condo and it has a cheap refrigerator. I'm now thinking about putting washi on it. ;P
I used washi tape to decorate ugly sweater Christmas cards, and had a blast! Still have washi massive amounts of washi. I think it breeds when I’m not looking. 😂
I loved it way better before you adder the purper. And the Orange card toon a lot away from that effect you wanted to create. Thats my humble opinion 😊opinieonderzoek.

I'm with you Laurel, I have so much washi tape just in a container. Thank you for your brilliant ideas..
I love all of your cards. Your so talented! Thank you so much for sharing they are all so beautiful!
Laurel, thank you for sharing your talents! You are a breath of fresh air, and I appreciate your honesty and just encouraging us to use what we have!

That bearly glue is the best! Just got it from Amazon and will be buying more!!
Thanks for the great ideas!
Great ideas. I have covered cardstock with washi tape, then die cut embelishments.
That last "mess" you made with the alcohol ink was terrific!!! Loved the other ideas, too, as washi seems to be my weakness, too! Thanks!!

Me too, I have about 200 rolls or more. And I hate to see them just sitting there wasting away.
Thank yo. I needed this

Love these ideas for washi tape. TYFS
Ok- I was doubtful about the last demo with the alcohol inks but I’m a believer now. Thanks for the great ideas
You are talented and FUNNY !
Amazing cards 🥰 I love the way you use your washi tape and your card designs ❤️ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
You always surprise me. I have washi and it is somewhere. Any suggestions on some of my tapes rip too easily or no stickiness?
I have found the older it gets, the harder it is to use. Sadly, if I struggle with unpeeling or lack of stickiness, I toss. :(
Laurel you need to watch this video. 3D embossing with washi tape Sande's Poema - Blessing others through card making. Beautiful cards.

Washi tape for the win. I cut the duration of my colds by a lot by using Simply Saline 1st thing in the am and/or when needed through out the day.
I love your ‘tude.
Great video! I use my washi tape to decorate my envelopes, the front and the back.

I was wondering what to use it on .

Hahaha!! You made me chuckle out loud!! I have a 'breeding' issue with ribbon!! 😄
LoL, yes, I think you are so right , they do breed
Where can u buy wide wasi tape?
ldli.co/e/xlqdze4 - Loads of designs!
Oh your weave went wrong! Unique ideas anyway!
Honestly it does depend on your post office! I can not even layer two dies on top of each other!! They upcharge me ALL the time! 😢 LOVE YOUR CARDS!
I make cards to send to my friends but I also seal the envelope with a strip of washi!!
I put my Washi tape down on glossy photo paper. Sticks TIGHT! Especially interesting when the photo paper is preprinted.
I have no clue what a magic mug is 😂. I looked for your link but didn’t find one. Would love to know 😊
It's premade die cuts, sentiments, etc. In a mug
Some people call it a ‘basket of crafty goodness. Just random die cuts tossed in a mug or basket, to be used later for any project
I put a design on the wall
I love Washing tape lol
Lol….I have tons of it and still buy it!
HAHA, I get it!
Going to pair this with duct tape 😉
Still don't know what a Magic Mug is.
