This lift is actually powered by a very intricate process in which it is driven by a repurposed Boeing 737 engine located inside the hydraulic pump in the lift pit. This motor is powered by the mains electricity which as it is only 230v its not powerful enough so they fitted a Schindler Smart motor ontop of the lift car to drive it incase the Boeing engine fails. It is very eco friendly as instead of oil it uses Irn Bru as Stannah found some in farmfoods for 9p and thought it would be good to recycle as it went out of date in 2014. The Irn Bru used also helps the piston to be lubricated ensuring a nice and smooth ride. As Stannah has ran out of Irn Bru, they now have to result to pouring petrol down the lift shaft in order to keep it hydrated, otherwise it gets angry.

While I was there, that system failed so I put an apple-powered engine into the lift pit and put oranges in it
A hydraulic MRL!

Stannah lifts are cool, even though they include with an annoying generic voice
