One thing about post partum anxiety and depression is you don’t feel shitty everyday. Some days are good and some days are bad. So for someone to say “you’re drinking and having fun, doesn’t look like you have mental issues” is totally uneducated and ignorant to the situation. You have your fun girl!!!

People that have never battled depression or anxiety will never be able to understand how we feel and there's no way to try to explain it to them. There are good days and bad days so have fun on the good days, don't listen to the negative comments. I'm glad you get time to go have adult fun. A little time away from the kids is an important part of being a good mom. Every mom needs to recharge.

Have they ever met any depressed ppl? Robin Williams was literally the happiest person alive and killed himself. A lot of ppl suffer in silence. At least she’s out with loved ones and not at home in bed. That’s when it’s scary
Just being older i now really realize you just truly don't know what a person with depression is expressing until you have depression. Someone could even be empathetic but only people who can relate, truly understand what Alondra is saying. Small minded people or people that are misinformed consider people with depression as attention seeking or an excuse to be lazy. That's a huge clear sign that, that person has never experience depression or is currently depress themselves putting and they're negatively releasing their emotions by trolling. Praying for you and your family as things like this sometimes are genetically life long.
GIRLLLL I felt the "you don't look like you're struggling, or depressed or anxious" like???? People need to realize that we're good at masking our inner struggles unless it becomes too much. I highly believe that nobody should be belittled or be told that what they have is just in their head EVEN THOUGH you got diagnosed by a doctor like ma'am/sir PLEASE MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. All of a sudden a doctor confirming your diagnosis isn't good enough to these people like come on, people should support people no matter their differences. Like if ya want us to be sad just say that 💀
Yeah but it’s also crazy to me how certain people with depression have so much energy and are so social. I stay in bed and my room all day and struggle horribly to take care of myself, so seeing her constantly going out and always getting ready and with friends is loca to me 😩😩

Personally for me after having my son my anxiety and depression sky rocketed I struggled for so long on my own with it unit it almost won. I’m so happy that you decided to get help and enjoy yourself! Moms already feel enough guilt for EVERYTHING you don’t need others for that! Enjoy your time babe, the best way to take care of your baby is if you take cate of yourself to! Happy momma happy baby!

As a person that dealt with anxiety & depression and post partum really bad I’m so happy for you & the fact that you are making sure you are good for the baby because if I had opportunity I would have needed that break so much , there will always those that judge without truly understanding. Yea what Benny said “fuck them” !!!!!! speaking as someone who suffers from mental illnesses multiple of them I hate when people comment on how I’m supposed to feel they don’t know what we go through they don’t know how bad he gets they don’t know how good the good days get ignore the negative people it’s gonna be hard especially being a public figure and being so loved you were always get hate but just know that us who love you so dearly can understand a little bit of what you’re going through especially those of us who suffer with mental illnesses I hope you guys had a wonderful trip and you guys are the cutest couple and you’re very lucky to have a supportive significant other

Alondra, I have adhd and it’s been just a huge struggle my whole life from 9 to now. It’s still sucks and it’s a battle for me and it’s very emotional every day. You are allowed to have good days and bad days. It’s always the people with the biggest smiles who have the deepest scars.

Honestly ive been dealing with so much anxiety lately. I am a mom of a 6 and 5 year old. And when they were doing home schooling is when i started getting my anxiety. Also i was working from home so it was a lot of strees....I cut off a lot of things in my life do to anxiety. But hanging out with friends and even having a few drinks and a fun time helps me feel so much better. Helps me forget about it and i start to feel like my old self again(for a bit)...Stay stong 💛 love you!

I almost had a heart attack at 34 just cause I couldn’t control my anxiety as soon as I put the pill for my heart under my Tongue it stopped. I have anxiety and dealt with postpartum depression after having my second son and some days I’m good and some days I’m not. When I do have good days I take advantage of that and enjoy myself and the little things. Very ignorant for someone to say “you don’t look like you’re depressed etc” because they aren’t YOU and don’t know how YOU feel. Everyone feels and operates different, so yes girl have fun, take advantage of the good days you have, work through the bad days as well and just live your life. Don’t worry about what others have to say. Love y’all!

I dislike how people are so quick to judge her by her mental health. I’m currently going through postpartum anxiety and it ain’t easy. Some days I’m good some days I just feel like crying and not being around others. It just hits you out of no where. You can look presentable and okay but that’s because we kind of mask our emotions and smile to make ourselves feel better and not have others questioning us. When you see a person losing it and crying it’s because they are already in a mental breakdown. Just because she looks happy and is putting a smile on her face doesn’t mean she is not struggling. She’s trying so hard to get out of that funk which is what I’m doing as well. I’m glad benny and your sister are helping you push through Alondra. 😘

Aww Alondra ! I struggle with anxiety and depression and feel you on the comment that you’re still allowed to have fun! One thing that’s just a fact, is alcohol is a depressant. So drinking heavily for one night has me feeling super anxious and sad for a week. Maybe experiment around and see what makes you feel good and what makes you feel bad. Because for sure alcohol makes anxiety so so much worse for me. Not just alcohol, but certain heavily processed foods too. It’s all an individual journey and I just pray that you, and everyone who struggles with mental health, finds peace of mind. 🧡
