I have 4 of them, The Greeny, 2 of the '59 Les Pauls, One of the '59's is Factory 'Burst, I unsatined them and aged the hdwre, and the Royal Tea '59 I put Dimarzio double cream '59 paf's in it. I also did headstock with the Gibson name and Truss cover on the 3 Les Pauls I usatined the headstock face and top and back on the cherry ES 355, I love them all
I absolutely love mine. Bought it for my birthday in July, let my favorite tech set it up and I’ve played it every day since. It’s always with me for gigs and rehearsals.
@@csharp57 absolutely man! Once you get it, dialed in which for me wasn't a lot of work, just your typical setup. It's truly amazing how far that guitar can go! What color did you end up going with?
@@LondonCityTTD you'll love it and great choice! This one was available at the guitar center which I was very surprised because Sweetwater was backordered. Let me know what you think whenever you get it. And thanks for watching the video!
@ going with the red my friend!! Even though I do like the other colours. I felt like the red is classic, and also look great with the ebony fingerboard. Did you keep the finish matte or give it a bit of a polish? I can’t wait to have it in my arms haha. I have to say your demo was full of the tastiest bends. I might rewatch or could you do a lesson on those licks? So good 💪🏽⚡️
I just got one, same model, from Zzounds! This guitar is awesome. No BS. The tone is spectacular. Really. I’ve fallen in love with this guitar. The custombuckers are incredible, the electronics are great, and the quality of the build is fantastic. The neck suits my hand 🤚 nicely, and the finish is awesome, too. I can’t say enough good things about it. If this is your style of guitar, and you’re looking 👀 for that great tone, this is it. As best I can tell, the difference between this and a Gibson is that this one was built by a cat named Ming instead of a cat named Mike. No offense intended. I’m no Gibson expert, not at all, but I’ve played enough of them to know that this guitar is on par with its counterpart. I actually returned an EVH SA-126 to get this instead. The 126 was a lot more money 💰, the electronics were Meh 🫤, and the value just wasn’t there. I think the SA126 is more of a $1k guitar than a nearly $2k guitar. Woof & crew are pocketing too much for it. This guitar IMO is superior to the SA126, and just has more value. I love EVH, and I’ve got an EVH custom shop 2011 model (only 66 made & the 1st 20 went to Edward) non-tremolo. That guitar is incredible. The IBG ES-355 is an incredible guitar, especially for the money. It’s worth it!
@@CraigBourke hey man great points! Thanks for watching and I couldn't agree with all of the words that you mentioned. Epiphone has really stepped up their game and it's nice that even though they may seem pricier they're still a lot more affordable than the counterparts in the custom shop. I also have some PRS videos coming out with the SE line and I got to say it is incredible as well and the tones are mind-blowing!
@@Austin_Westtt I told myself I wanted white, but man, it was hard to pass up the iconic red. I grabbed it and haven't looked back. I'm considering putting a bigsby on it.
@@Austin_Westtt I'm so impressed with this one that I might even pick up the SG Custom as well. Put some custom shop pups in it and I bet it screams like this one does.
@midwaymonster30 I think I just saw one on Guitar center used for $9.99! Checkreverb.com man, if you watch the guitar that you're looking for nine times out of 10, they'll send a offer. That's a lot cheaper. Just trying to save you some pennies brother! Definitely go for it. I might pick up the Les Paul myself!
I actually just bought an Eastman SB 56 and was really disappointed in it. Maybe I just got a bad egg but in my opinion this phone I’ll performed the guitar by quite a bit.
110%! I actually had bought an Eastman sb59 which come with stock Lollar imperial pickups but somebody had replaced them with cheap Korean pickups. So I returned it. Guitar Center should start checking the pickups whenever they get those used guitars in!
Who has played the new Epiphones inspired by Gibson?!
Does the headstock have the Gibson break angle or is it the more mild Epiphone angle? Thanks!

it's totally worth the money just for the pickups. I would've bought it for sure if I didn't have regular es335.

this type of guitars + tone king ndsp plugin = the best bedroom blues setup

Well, to buy that I buy the Eastman T486 or T59 (a little more expensive), I think they are quite above that Epiphone in almost everything
