“I don’t want him biting the wrong person” maam biting you is the wrong person.
yeah totally. but i do see her point. her being willing to accept his bites so that he doesnt bite another person. it makes sense. but its not ok
It shouldn't be bitten full stop it was a child it will get put down
Don’t let your dog bite you!
Biting is the wrong person bro
I mean, she won't report it and get the dog put down, another person might. "Wrong" in this context would be "death sentence" not "shouldn't happen".
There is a lot of pain behind her obsession with this little dog. And her man understands and supports her. You have a good one there, hang on to him 💚
Totally agree
Absolutely
I was thinking the same. He is so sweet and caring to wards her. Lovely family
@@vindheimar2631 wrong! He's an enabler and that's not healthy or helpful.
@@LePoneyDuVoisin totally wrong. When you love someone you don't enable unhealthy behaviors. That woman treats her dog like a baby and that's just wrong. She's not helping the dog at all. And her husband tolerates it.
He's not a baby, he's a dog. It's wonderful to see Victoria talk some sense into them and the dog (and them) so much more happy.
Exactly. I can't stand seeing owners like this woman who treat their dogs like toddlers.
@@trawlins396 yes, but how about a little empathy for the woman. At least she acknowledges why. Plus they did all the recommended training for the dog. Many dog owners wouldn’t bother to do the work, especially with small dogs.
@@user-bv7mk8id5t I was surprised to see how well they followed their tasks, too. What a great demonstration of what a difference that determination and dedication can make. GREAT JOB, Savage's parents!
Dogs are family. Just not human family.
Nah,my pets are family!!.
Victoria falling over laughing is giving me life 😂 I don't think I ever seen her laugh so hard but shes right, he absolutely loves it! Keep your stroller girl your dogs so happy in it 😂

@@m6666 Ah you're right, autocorrect bit me 😂
This TV series is a therapist for depression. I love the way all the videos follow the same pattern all the time. Very satisfying for the autism
Omg I was literally just thinking the same! Helping my own traumas and anxieties, maximum soothing and learning haha
literally the amount of seritonin this show gives me sajhfhdvagv
Hard relate. 😂
Definitely, I wish someone understood me the way she understands these dogs. My psychiatrist could never 😂
Great to hear
I just want to give that lady a big hug, and she has the most wonderful husband...he's a gem! Glad that everything went well for you two, you deserve it!
I don’t even own a dog and I watch these all the time
I watch these, & thank god my dog is the chillest dog on earth 😂.
Same
Same
Same I have a cat lol
I watched these shows before I got my dog and it helped so much to have seen the worst of canine behaviour so I could do the right things to prevent it happening in my dog.
It's so obvious that these owners loved their dog and *wanted* to do the right thing for him, but just didn't see how they were doing it wrong. Especially with how they followed through with the training and even added those enrichment activities!!
I have a stroller for my dogs as well, but I also walk them. Victoria cracking up had me cracking up 😂
It was so sweet to watch daddy holding savages little paw as they were talking to Victoria😊 just sweet as can be!! Bless little Savage.🥹
The conclusion of this whole series is that it’s always the human’s fault, rather it’s because you’re doing something wrong or because you’re not doing something you should. Teaches a lot of things and it really helped with my Pit’s anxieties. The key truly is consistency!
Pits unfortunately were bred by humans for bloodsport. You can't out love a pit's genetics.
@@lauralaforge558 You clearly never had a pit before honey
@@lauralaforge558Same for many terriers and scent and sight hounds. Same for the various livestock guardian breeds. They can all make for fantastic pets, too, though.
What a gem of a husband.
I love Victoria's method of training no cruelty involved
No real animal trainer uses cruelty. Duh.
@@trawlins396 do your research
@@vickijones2013 after you do yours.
It's tough, but your dog can never be your child. A dog is a dog, and while they can be great companions that we love, they are not human, and trying to treat them like a human always ends badly, and in the long run causes the dog to suffer as well as the owners.
In the short run too
Victoria is really great at teaching owners how to help their doggos. Just amazing.
Savages little tail wag when Simon first said good boy is so sweet!
Victoria is not only training the dog, she trains the family as well. Such a great technique.

“I don’t wanna lose my baby” ma’am your baby is trying to tear your throat out
Lol ikr
OMG that pillow is EVERYTHING
The dog needs training and direction but the owner needs therapy. I mean that in a nice way, I hope she can start to heal from some of the pain she lives with.
It’s so important for people to understand how important it is for the human to change. I don’t want to blame all humans for bad dogs because many just don’t know how to do it right. And there are many factors for dogs to be good dogs. Just like a child doesn’t come with a manual neither do dogs. Thank you Victoria for helping out these families.
moral of the story: don't name your dog what you dont want him to become.
The chihuahua in a push chair would be the cutest and funniest thing for the day if i was a guest at their home HAHAH
It's funny how they're talking about his problems at the beginning and the dog's just sitting there with a tiny blep
It is nice to see a nervous Savage transform into a confident, sociable cute little one. This was quite similar to Jed the bulldog… also btw love your dog training techniques Victoria :).
A dog with no basic training is not a happy dog. A spoiled dog is not a happy dog. And it should be clear to the couple that Savage isn’t happy, which is what the woman wants for him. Having discipline isn’t being mean, as long as you do it the right way. Dogs actually get excited when they please you.
*Discipline means to teach. It's absolutely necessary for all to thrive.*
Exactly. It’s for learning, not harsh punishments.
@@155chipmunkz *Absolutely 155...*
Savage really dresses in style!
what a cute name his dad picked 😀
This woman is hurting her husband by saying that he is number two next to her dog being number one. Like something is very wrong with that.
My friend had a chihuahua. He was the dopiest little guy id ever seen. There was just nothing going on upstairs. Gorgeous doggo though. Very laid back and super friendly. Especially with kids. My kids loved the cute lil potato.
I really enjoy these videos, as I see anxious dogs turning confident and calm. Their lives get so much better.
Wow, I didn't think my eyes could roll as much as they did at the start of this. A dog is a dog, not a baby.
He's a dog not a baby. Why don't people train little dogs the same way as they do big dogs? If he was a Husky or a Great Dane he would have had a better bit of training. Dogs are dogs, no matter what size.
Exactly. My doggo passed away nearly 3 years ago now but he was a jack russel mix, he never junped up, never barked excessively, didnt nip or lunge to nip. He was a beautiful boy and it was because i didnt want him being one of those little terrors.
I always have to wonder when married people on these show are like "Lmao yeah I definitely love the dog more than my husband/wife lol don't worry he/she won't do anything about it"; do you even like your partner? Because the second spouse always looks so dejected and like they've given up trying to be valued by their partner. I'm always happy when Victoria gives them a reality check about that.
I don't think it's weird at all. Marriages/ relationships break up all the time. Rare for people to go more than 5 - 7 years these days. In contrast a dog will never walk out and leave one day, they are there with you till they take their last breath. It's easy to love someone who loves you unconditionally.
"He's not really a dangerous dog" he's he is. He's always trying to bite her and anyone else. One day it will be a toddler's face if they don't fix the dog. Biting small dogs are just as dangerous and in need of becoming safer as a biting big dog.
if this was big dog, he would probably put down. lots free passes just bec he is small
That’s so true. No chances for a big dog at all. But small dogs, people just overlook it. I have a small dog and I made sure she didn’t become a snappy biting dog. That’s a no in my house
That's because if this was a big dog someone would have been in hospital already
FACTS
The funniest thing is savage in the background of the intro like” I don’t know what these people are talking about “
My mother-in-law has a lovely sweet calm chihuahua who almost never barks. I want my own chihuahua one day, but I will go to puppy school with my future chihuahua and train and socialize him from day one.
It's funny how it looks like Victoria installs the cameras herself 😂
Simon says ready before each treat he throws. The dog is gonna think 'ready' means he's getting a treat
I'm so grateful that I have my chi. She is super sweet.❤ I have a theory that the chis that misbehave aren't treated like dogs. People carry them everywhere, put them in clothes all the time, and don't discipline them when they behave badly the owners often just laugh. I think they would have a better reputation if we treated them like any other dog. I let mine do everything she can by herself. I don't want to do things for her I know she can do herself.
Exactly, people forget that they're dogs and not dolls. Sure they may seem to like it, but do they have a choice? No. Stop anthropomorphizing dogs.
Replace "chis" with "dogs" and this would still be accurate.
there definitely can be a balance as long as there's training, like with both my dog and my friend's dog (both chihuahua mixes) we very much consider them like our kids and we baby them a bit but also we're very strict in training them, making sure they have structure, security and confidence, making sure they earn things like doing obedience for treats, sitting and waiting for food, etc. and so while we baby them sometimes they're still both very friendly, well behaved dogs
I carry mine everywhere but he’s not an insecure dog 🤷🏼♀️ He’s just super small to walk so much. He sleeps in my pocket or in my hoodie. He’s absolutely calm around other people. No one even notices him most of the time
My sweet chi is just a couch potato who wants to cuddle but is very happy during walk and play time. It is important to respect and love your pooch but discipline and boundaries are as equally as important. Small dogs are easier to spoil but they are still a dog.
"Biting the wrong person" I'd say ANY person is the wrong person?
I wouldn't make a whole fuss if I were to be bitten by any dog there are so much worse things in this world besides being bitten by a dog but that's just me
by "biting the wrong person" they mean someone who would tell and possibly get animal control to take the dog away
@@briannahernandez6627 sure accidents happen but if there's any indication of the owner needing some guidance with their dog I'd at least start a conversation with them about it
Especially a baby. Human babies can be killed by PUPPIES for crying out loud.
I have the same stroller but in purple for my puppy. She doesn't have enough shots yet to be on the ground so it allows us to take her out to get new experiences.
girl that lady is gonna be torn apart by the time the episode comes out💀

I'm so glad you're on RUclips. I canceled cable and don't get my favorite animal planet shows anymore. So happy to watch videos here. ❤️
I hate how expensive TV is now.
Patience and consistency are key to teaching any pet boundaries!
I wonder why the waiting times for these episodes are so PAINFULLY long
I think heather thought training was only about discipline when really it’s all about positive reinforcement which is something she can do.
This is what happens when you treat dogs like dolls. They arent here for you to play dress up with.
Omg when they both said good boy! Lol 12:49
No way this dog would be controlling my house and biting me , that's a no
Dogs can be babies for a family. My dogs are the babies of the house. However, discipline is needed. I commend them for being great parents and taking the steps to train Savage properly.
Simon also shows so much love for Savage!
What’s going to happen when Savage reaches the end of his life? She says life isn’t worth living without him. Dogs don’t live forever!
Well she obviously refuses to do therapy for herself
yeah i wonder
What a wonderful episode!
I don't understand why people say this is their baby, like it would be okay for a child to act this way either 🤷🏾♀️ but then again kids were on Jerry Springer slapping their parents, so there is that...
Also you want your pet to love you but never praise then when they are doing good things that make you happy. My dog lives for her treat and "good girl" so it makes life so easy. All of my dogs were like that. 👍🏾
She definitely needs therapy before that dog reaches the point of natural death. If life isn't worth living without him, what is she going to do when he passes for health or age reasons!?
Main issue with chihuahuas is usually owners who just go on about how cute they are when they are being little demonic rats instead of correcting the behavior.
Stop treating dogs like humans, that’s your pet not your child. I’ve noticed people that treat their dogs as humans have the worst behaved pets.
Savage loves his people, I can tell 😂😂
He loves them so much that he got separation anxiety, glad to see he got over his issues.
I'm really surprised tho Vicky didn't tell them to back down with the dress up, I feel like that's a thing her past self would have discussed with the owner.
Agreed. I never understood the way some trainers harp on it. If the dog doesn't mind and the human enjoys it there is really no harm in it. Obviously there's a lot more to having a dog then just buying and putting it in clothes, but as long as the dogs needs are being met what's the harm? Granted it's not for everyone/every dog, but neither is hiking or doggie daycare.
I enjoyed dressing up my late dog. She accepted it, and loved the extra attention she got when she was out. She also liked sleeping in her PJs, as they kept her warm. She was hairless and often needed something to keep her warm or keep the sun off her, why not make it something I find cute?
What I love about Victoria is she speaks on things that bother. Dressing savage didn’t seem to bother him, so she didn’t feel the need to change it. She doesn’t agree, but when it’s ineffective to change, she doesn’t bother to bring it up. There were bigger issues causing his problems that removing the clothes didn’t resolve. Whereas in other videos, the clothes clearly pissed off the animal lol but savage seems to like it xD and some dogs do
it also doesn't seem like a daily thing more an occasional one
@@imzadi83fanvids7 i've put my previous elderly dog in sweaters in the winter, tho i feel like she didn't care either way. the dog i have now is a total wuss when it comes to the cold he lay's under blankets all day when it's colder but finding something the size of an amstaff has been impossible.
@@neko_my_cat Yeah, big dogs do get left out of the clothing game. I know a lot of people have to resort to modifying kid's clothes. Of course I'm sure there are people on Etsy who will make custom clothes, but it's expensive.
My childhood dog had one sweater that she loved, she was meh on the other ones, but this one pink one with paw prints made her strut around like she was on the catwalk, lol. Don't know what it was about that one particular sweater she liked, but she sure looked cute in it!
Super smart Victoria you did it once more. Bravo!
further proof that all aggressive chihuahuas are just the product of owners who don't train them lol glad to see Savage's become a happier, chill, now trained dog
"he is not really a dangerous dog" he is.... if it was a putbull he would have been put down years ago... can people stop acting like its fine that small dogs are not trained and behave really bad...
Agreed
My grandmas shih tzu bit her near the eye and needed 6 stitches and almost lost that eye. Small dogs can still do damage when allowed to act like this.
exactly
At the end they look truly happy ♥️
thats what you get for naming your dog SAVAGE!!! GOODNESS GRACIOUS...LOL
My dog: barks on purpose and then goes quiet to get treats.
Guidence is consistently. Consistency is safety. Safety is protection. Protection is love. Love is respect. Respect is love.
The fact that you look at him as your child is why your dog is the way he is.
Victoria loves Chihuahuas, why am I not surprised?
I saw my chihuahua as my child and she was spoiled. She had clothes, toys, a stroller.... Everything i could give her. She was my princess my whole world. She was never like the Chihuahua in this video. She was well behaved and calm. Never once nipped or barked at anyone unless she picked up a bad vibe. She loved and wanted attention from everyone. Also had good manors. She loved babys and puppies. She put everyone of my othere dogs back in line........... When she passed away i felt like i lost a child.
Because they can be AWESOME little dogs!
But they *have* to be raised *Like Dogs*
I'm all for spoiling your dogs, but if you baby them to the point that they aren't functional dogs anymore, they will end up anxious little messes like this.
He doesnt only bites, he grabs, holds and shakes... VERYBAD... and the woman "i dont wanna lose my baby".. ITS A DOG AND YOU ARE ITS LEADER!!!
If she were a toddler she’d be dead by now.
Babies need consistency and kind boundaries too.
I really wish more people would train their small dogs. Just because they are small, doesn't mean that they don't need to be trained or have manners. I am legitimately scared of small dogs due to how many times I've been bitten by ones that are not well behaved or trained properly. This behavior wouldn't be tolerated at all if it was my 65 lbs pitbull, so why should it be tolerated for a small dog?
A 6 lb chihuahua can be extremely obnoxious but it cant maul a person to death so even aggressive behaviour is tolerated 🤷♀️
@@giftofthewild6665 just because one single Chihuahua cannot maul someone to death doesn't mean they can't inflict serious injury
@@that.ll_do_pig they can inflict minor injuries, none of which would be life threatening unless someone let a bite go untreated and it got infected and turned gangrenous
A dog bite isn’t minor.
@@jujujupiter any injury which can be treated at home is minor
I hate it when people baby dogs and dress them up in clothes
Yeah, the only time a dog SHOULD be dressed up is in winter, and even then keepin' them warm should be the main intent.

I’m surprised shes not convincing doggo to walk..he’s gonna need it..he’s a bit hefty rn lol
Yeah he's badly overweight
I haven't had a dog in several years now, but watching these reminds me of my (much better behaved but still always on the go) childhood dog. I am learning because I haven't been around dogs much for awhile now and this is really bringing back details about how they work, if that makes sense? Like, yeah, I've been *around* dogs since then, but it's not the same as having one. It also makes me thankful that as weird, chaotic, and stubborn as my dog was, he wasn't actually badly behaved like some of these ones O_O (not that it's usually the dog's fault). He was a very weird dog, but not a bad one.
I'm a cat person watching this with my cat in my lap, but I remember before I got my cat I used to watch this, now I'm back for old memories
I have a stroller for my chihuahua ... of course she's 17 and arthritic and having difficulty on uneven surfaces
This is not tearing her apart. But if she had a child it would have been the same . Lesson I learnt from this episode is everybody including dogs need to be taught right from wrong
the fact that people will fawn over their dog like its literally their baby but not only are surprised the have to discipline it, and they also dont think they are smart enough to train and end up stifling them :/ im glad these ppl dont have kids..
a minute in and i see two big problems: 1) no dog likes being dressed in outfits. you want to dress something up, buy a doll or have a baby. 2) if you don't like constant high-pitched barking, DO NOT GET A CHIHUAHUA. even a yorkie is pushing it but at least they're not as high-anxiety as chihuahuas. better option would be a cairn terrier or shiba inu, very chill breeds.
❤ your vlog😅. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for providing closed captain for the deaf. Thank you!
Dogs are FAR more secure, confident, and loving when they have strong leadership. Same with kids. When they know their boundaries and the consequences when they don't follow the rules - when they obey the authority in their lives, they are free to live the life they were created to live.
I feel very sad for her heartache over not being able to have children - I cannot possibly imagine how that would feel. A dog is not even CLOSE to a child, but a dog CAN help soothe an aching heart over not being able to have children.
Он пытается доминировать. С характером пёс.👍🐶💯
They're just talking and Savage is just looking at them💀
Funny how if a big dog bites it is a “dangerous animal” but little dogs can get away with it
Facts
exactly
Clothes for dogs are for the dog owner, not the dog unless it's a raincoat or something to stay warm.
My dog is medium sized and has decent length fur but still shivers in the winter. I used to put one of my old sweaters (modified to fit her) on her to keep her warm on walks. I got lots of weird looks but I felt bad for her, I couldn't just let her shiver while I wrapped up in a nice warm coat.
As long as the dog doesn't mind it's fine. I have jackets for mine for snow and put a tighter one on when one of mine is stressed but he also is excited to put on clothes whenever. I just hold it and he runs up to me and sits for it. My girl doesn't care either way so I've done it for photos a few times cause it's cute. It's just silly when he's already wearing something but asks for me to put more on him when I'm trying to pit something on my girl instead. Made it very easy to train him to wear a head collar tbh
Until this day I absolutely HATED Chi’s. I thought they were all aggressive, nasty horrid looking rats. Now I see that it’s the owner’s fault for treating them like a baby, instilling fear and insecurity in them - because HELLO - they’re not babies - they’re DOGS. So all chi owners wake up to yourselves. You’re HURTING your dogs by mistreating them by not giving them boundaries. The world wouldn’t hate them if they could see this video.
exactlyyyy
Amen! I work with dogs for a living, and while I know some absolute *wrecks* of little dogs, I also know some really stellar ones!
The difference is absolutely raising them *Like Dogs.*
I'm all for spoiling your pet with treats and love and toys, but if you baby them to the point that they aren't functional dogs anymore they are going to end up anxious, (and often reactive,) little messes.
One of our most beloved little dogs at daycare is a 6 pound Chihuahua, he's awesome and it's because his Mom raised him with the kind of socialization, experiences, and structure that dogs thrive on.
At 2:00 min, I already see 2 main issues! One, he isn't kept as a pet dog but a human baby. Second, he is overweight unless he has a health issue!?
This was incredible..i wish i had such direction when i rescued a “bait dog” who was a terror(biting, barking)to every human but me 🤝🌸

That lady gonna have a hard time when the dog passes away... just doesn't sound healthy.
Victoria you gave me the skills to train my Schnauzer. Let me tell you she is a pleasure to have around, well behaved dog so thank you!!!
Out in the world, it's always small dog owners that are delusional. Wants it this way, but does it another way. They can't hear themselves think over all the yapping
I jusr don't understand people who say they see their pets as their child, but then completely leave out the quintessential parenting responsibilities from the equation.
Savage is the center of her world, but DADDY is the center of Savages. Chis truly are one person dogs.
