It's really difficult to make ocs like this because you want to have powerful villians but you cant use magic, or your own grimm, so I love what the did with pandora and everything
I think it's important to note that at the end of Ragora's trailer, Simin almost pulls out his wind lance. While it is possible that his wind dust is not used more because it is more limited, we also see in that moment that it's probably not as limited as can be inferred since it would be the first weapon he would throw out against this new foe AND despite its destructive capabilities, he's willing to use the wind lance in the presence of his friends, who would presumably get swept up in it. This leads to 4 theories: 1. Simin has some sort of control over wind dust's capabilities. 2. Simin has another weapon made out of wind dust entirely 3. Simin can change the amount of dust put into it. 4. The one that invalidates everything: Mark just thought it looked cool and set up the next villain as threatening by showing Simin's impulse to use a dangerous as opposed to his regular light weapons.
I noticed that team SLVR seems to represent RPG classes with a Knight, Rogue, Marksman and Mage. I could see the earth dust making another sword as that seems to be the weapon the character uses most. Trying to imagine a sword using earth dust seemed to perplex me at first then I thought about Goron swords from Zelda such as the Cobble Crusher and Boulder Breaker. Something like that would look insane to smack foes around like a tennis ball.
Team SLVR was so inspirational to me and was the first OC RWBY team I ever saw. I had no desire to make an OC team until I saw the first 2 trailers and was so amazed that someone came up with their own characters with unique weapons and semblance with their own fighting styles. Glad to see my favorite RWBRUclipsr cover them!
*Simin magistus* and his Synchronized Dust Projection Jacket (Not able to say that 10 times fast), named *Kore Kosmou.* Also one off the applications off Kore Kosmou is strange, as Simin can already swing as the sword was still getting created. To be fair he only did this in the Regalia trailer when he was creating his fire greatsword already stabbed through the robot guards and blasted a hole through the armour. As for the Earth dust, I always thought this would turn out to be a hammer, cause these are usually used to smash rocks, I have no confirmation about this but it would be ironic. As for combinations we have only seen fire and ice make steam. I would asume the following: - Ice and Earth would make mud to trap opponents. - Ice and Wind could make snow or a blizzard. - Fire and wind would be either a fire tornado or scaling it down to a smoke screen, both are usefull in battle. - Fire and Earth would make magma, I can see some implications for that to keep grimm at a distance. - Wind and Earth would indeed make a sandstorm And if Mark continues the with Team SLVR, making episodes with these character. I would love this and I for one would love to see Simin unlock his semblance.
I had never learned any info on the SLVR team or characters before this. It’s surprising because, no joke, I had a very similar weapon idea for one of my OC. Instead of a jacket it would have been a pair of bracers that could cycle through 4 types of dust each. However, it wasn’t all about manifesting weapons. Ice dust was for constructs, electric dust would have been used to boost the welders physical speed, fire dust for ranged attacks and so on.
I think the Earth weapon could be a mace or hammer. I also thought he could combine fire into the earth weapon so that the earth spire was actually lava. He could also combine earth and ice for mid but that really depends on how much he is capable with the ice. Not to say it isn't extremely fleshed out. There is so much to Kore Kosmou (I hope the spelling is right) it is honestly my favorite weapon in all of rwby either canon or fanon. It reminds me of skylanders trap team where all the guys had crystal weapons.
Hello Phoenix and all of you Lovely People. I hope you all are having a pleasant day even regarding the world around us. Thank you and of you are not yet have a Lovely Day.
I always thought that his semblance was alchemy and that was how he shaped the dust that was provided by his Jacket. I always thought that he could also affect his environment within a certain range, kinda like overhaul from my hero, but on a lower scale.

I already watch Team SLVR (Silver Trailer), It was magnificent, if you have forgotten RWBY Fan-Made (Team SLVR Trailers), spoiler. He chooses swords, shields in Ice Dust, then Fire Dust, Wind Dust, and we haven't seen Earth Dust, the fight scene is epic.
Probably Weiss. No disrespect to Lysette or Ragora, but the only thing Lysette has going for her is the surprise insta-freeze that trapped Ragora. Lysette struggled with Ragora's semblance, so Weiss's should defeat her pretty easily.
@@ghostchannel4766 Nope Lysette wouldn't let Weiss summon so it would be a battle of dust. In which Lysette wins. Or not I like Lysette more than Weiss anyway
Edward Armstrong “shot distance”? Have you seen how long her gauntlet blade is?! She is way more creative than Weiss when it comes to using ice dust, she is a lot faster too, just look at her fight in Regalia! She also has a shield, and won’t give Weiss enough time to summon
@@eliasmagus5086 You do realize that all she needs is to stall her long enough to summon her Arma Gigas considering in volume 7 she got a hang of her summons and can summon them much quicker, compared to volume 5 right? I always imagine Earth-style weapons being blunt, like hammers, clubs, mauls, that kind of thing. Maybe the Earth-dust weapon is a Great Maul, taking the form of a boulder on a stick, or something.
It seems like his semblance would be something like “dust shaping” which allows him to turn the dust he uses in his jacket into different weapons. I think this would explain how these weapons come to be cause this has to be the most pristine control of dust I’ve ever seen. It’s so badass 🤩🤩

My original team is called Team CMLT (Camelot). Each character is based from the King Arthur legend. And I put a lot of time and effort into them, the CMLT (Camelot) name is MINE!! I plan on posting them online in the coming days
I think that you did an excellent job at analyzing the 1st member of Team Slver. I would say that the earth dust manifest itself into a sledgehammer or Great War Hammer.
Characters that fight like Simin are always my favourite characters. They use multiple weapons in battle and are not limited to one or two weapons. That's how my character would fight, except his semblance is him being able to summon basically any weapon he thinks of, not like Simin.
My OC has a similar semblance. My OC uses a bow-dual bladed whips and her ammo is the semblance. I called the semblance Aura Construction (I don’t have a cool name for it) but essentially any construct my character makes uses aura while it’s summoned. As to vary the amount the semblance can be used. So while an arrow uses very little aura, summoning a sword and keeping it constructed uses a lot more
Simin had a semblance in the Silver trailer, but Mark changed his mind in the Lynen trailer where he corrected himself in the description. Personally, I think his semblance should be what allows him to make his weapons so complex. Dust isn’t usually seen having such unique properties, it mostly just acts as a source of an element of nature. So Simin’s semblance being something akin to manipulating the dust that’s in his hands (supplied by Kore Kosmou) would make a lot of sense and it would explain why he has so much control over the shape and function of the dust he summons.
Personally, I like the change more. The weapon probably has presets designed into it for how it creates the structure of dust that can only be altered by using the dust raw (like the steam technique). This would explain why they're always the same default shapes, yet Simin can still use dust combinations.
He still changed their shape though. In the silver trailer, when he dual wielded ice, the blades were different. Unless I’m remembering that wrong, I’ll have to re-watch to be sure.
I think Simin either comes from a rich family or has a very generous benefactor since buying that much dust cannot possibly be cheap. He also has a lot of alchemical themes and knowledge about different dust effects and combinations so I guess he has connections to dust researchers or chemists as well. Scholarship maybe? Since he also has no semblance he definitely has to rely more on his wits and hard work which definitely helps in being a team leader.
Speaking for the swords, I think the only reason the fire sword has an extra "burning" quality is due to the nature of fire itself, being that if you swing a torch around, the flames follow the torch, AND can set things on fire given the correct circumstances. Ice however, should not be able to freeze things on contact as ice is merely water made solid. If the ice swords WERE able to flash freeze on contact, it would mean that they were cold enough to be unable to hold and I would consider, pretty broken, all things considered
I have a cool rwby character idea called Harp. She is based of Hermes the Greek god, her semblence allows her to hover in the air and move at extreme speed. Her weapon is a staff with vines coiled around, the vines are made of dust (one ice and one lightning). The staff can split into dual swords/daggers or become a single sword. She is not a Faunus. Her colour would be gold, she wears a royal style dress that is white with gold rims and details. Her staff can also bend in half for easier storage. I haven’t come up with her team though, or if she is a team leader
I always thought earth would manifest either a mace or a flail, since it is still a knight weapon, but is made for heavy blunt damage which earth is normally associated with
My oc uses a one handed axe where the head is removable and becomes a shield the remaining weapon becomes a 3 bullet burst rifle Edit any ideas for a semblence And the shield is still sharp
here's a semblance suggestion; trajectory curving: basically they could curve the trajectory of their projectiles ( i.e if they throw their shield or use the bullets from the rifle ) to create a sort of boomerang effect. this could improve their accuracy and work pretty well in conjunction with their weapon if you wanna go for that sort of semblance. a limitation could be that with lack of focus a projectile could accidentally curve towards the opposite direction that they intended, and another being that they can only bend the trajectory of their own projectiles/objects and not anyone else's.
Let’s help Simin doesn’t have to sacrifice an arm and a leg using so much dust maybe he’ll learn about equivalent exchange while mastering all four elements to bring balance to Remnant
I think the earth dust weapons might manifest as a pair of boots. It would be more creative and simple that way than using an axe, mace, or hammer to tear up the terrain by potentially causing an earthquake.
Well to nitpick a bit. I'd say the only thing missing in your analysis is his more physical attributes. I suppose to go further what sort of martial arts he seems to specialize in. For example, Yang is a typical boxer with some kick boxing thrown in here and there.
I could see the earth dust not being a weapon at all. It could be something akin to The Last Airbender where it can be used as full body armor, to strengthen his own melee hits.
It may seem strange but Rock Dust can generate rock, so maybe his Rock Dust Weapon is a projectile weapon, like a gun that throw tiny rock instead of bullets.
Crazy Idea I thought of just now: Creating a catapult that could throw rocks and/or boulders. Maybe also shatter into pieces, like shrapnel, upon impact with a hard surface like a wall or the floor.
The earth weapon could be something like a staff or a flail. More range than the ice-swords less volatile than the fire and wind weapons and it doesn't leave you compleatly open when you slam it in the ground to generate the elemental efect.
To think this would help me on creating my own fan rwby team. I'm missing one person to create BRWN. A animal, native team, which consists of Brutz Olmai, Wapeka Ji, and Rakuga.
You know your explation is probably why Cinder stopped using dust related clothes because they use so much dust and she would be vurnable if she ran out of dust and she would have to rely on her maiden powers
Maybe the earth dust turns into a giant hammer? Like the one Nora uses. If he doesn't have a semblance YET, then I'm curious of what it could be. But also, I thought if you run out of aura you can't use your semblance? So, is it possible to have an aura but no semblance?
I see why Wind Dust would be non-lethal but not cost effective. Comparatively, Ice Dust would be easier to not kill someone with compared to Fire Dust.
How about flat out meteors for the earth dust. The weapon could be a globe or rubik's cube if it is all about moving the earth and altering the terrain.

Well to nitpick a bit. I'd say the only thing missing in your analysis is his more physical attributes. I suppose to go further what sort of martial arts he seems to specialize in. For example, Yang is a typical boxer with some kick boxing thrown in here and there.
His more like mercury than yang he used kick base moves.
I think the earth weapon is an heavy armor
I could see the earth dust not being a weapon at all. It could be something akin to The Last Airbender where it can be used as full body armor, to strengthen his own melee hits.
when i think of earth dust i imagine a hammer that would destroy and/or manipulate the ground
The Earth dust weapon I think as a spike ball and chain
It may seem strange but Rock Dust can generate rock, so maybe his Rock Dust Weapon is a projectile weapon, like a gun that throw tiny rock instead of bullets.
It would be interesting to see earth dust used for his long range option.
Crazy Idea I thought of just now:
Creating a catapult that could throw rocks and/or boulders. Maybe also shatter into pieces, like shrapnel, upon impact with a hard surface like a wall or the floor.
With that being a White Fang Warehouse he now has plenty of dust
The earth weapon could be something like a staff or a flail. More range than the ice-swords less volatile than the fire and wind weapons and it doesn't leave you compleatly open when you slam it in the ground to generate the elemental efect.
My oc’s weapons are a mix of yang’s and flint’s weapons but With the gravity type ability that Maria’s scythes have.
Wonder if we’re ever gonna get the rest of the team lol
I think earth dust might allow him to make something more complicated, like a gun
To think this would help me on creating my own fan rwby team. I'm missing one person to create BRWN. A animal, native team, which consists of Brutz Olmai, Wapeka Ji, and Rakuga.
I think of Earth base weapons to be more on armor style than wielded style so like claws or gotlitz.
You know your explation is probably why Cinder stopped using dust related clothes because they use so much dust and she would be vurnable if she ran out of dust and she would have to rely on her maiden powers
A hammer for the ground dust.
I could definently see the earth dust being an axe, but since Regora already has one I feel like Simin's will be a huge Warhammer
I won't lie this is what aspired me to get into make oc RWBY characters and teams
If he used fire and wind dust together, would it be like Agni and Rudra from Devil May Cry 3?
Let's GO!
Maybe the earth dust turns into a giant hammer? Like the one Nora uses.
If he doesn't have a semblance YET, then I'm curious of what it could be. But also, I thought if you run out of aura you can't use your semblance? So, is it possible to have an aura but no semblance?
I think the earth dust is a war hammer similar to magnihild and I think you forgot to talk about possible upgrades
Who's team SLVR, are they from the comics?????, Never heard of them before
its a fanmade thing you should watch they are on youtube
They are mark Zhang's oc it's on yt
Fan made characters created by a very passionate fan of RWBY
I like them
@@tristinclayton6738 Just watched it, they seem pretty cool.
@@shelbybayer200 Yeah I like them
I would use Boot Earth Dust Weapons.
The team leader of slvr he can control of dust how did do that...!? 😮😮😮
I think his Earth weapon would be a hammer similiar to Nora's
Simins semblance might be dust manipulation, and the earth dust might create a hammer, like Nora
Dust manipulation is a learnable skill.
Kinda hoping he does NYON eventually
I see why Wind Dust would be non-lethal but not cost effective. Comparatively, Ice Dust would be easier to not kill someone with compared to Fire Dust.
Where is the rest of these per team SLVR
im guessing Earth is gonna be a hammer or some sort of Gauntlet
Maybe the earth dust is also used to reinforce his strength or durability of his clothing? As well as terrain manipulation not unlike what Weiss did?
It better be a hammer. Nora would be proud
Are we getting more of this team I thought he had to stop making stuff for them?
How about flat out meteors for the earth dust. The weapon could be a globe or rubik's cube if it is all about moving the earth and altering the terrain.
The earth dust weapon might be either a mallet or mace
