David Gates wrote the song "Everything I Own" as a tribute to his father who passed away in 1963.
He wrote this song when his Dad passed away. Very moving. Thank you
Completely not true. Shaun Morgan - the singer, writer said this: I wrote it two and a half years ago for my daughter, she was just born and I had to come to the States and I wrote the lyrics for her, it's about leaving somebody behind, you know that is really painful to do, and ultimately you're looking to the future saying "we'll see each other again and everything will be fine."

Seether frontman wrote this song about his daughter and him being away from her. So, it's not really without content.
I have completely forgotten about your channel, but you had one of the most constructive reviews of My Immortal... and Evanescence fans were so happy, hoping you would do more, but sadly nothing. I wonder if you'd consider doing more of Evanescence? Their songs deserve your reaction.

You are completely correct about what you said about the first song compared to the second song. Bread is over 45 years old and Seether is much younger and the music was so much cleaner and clearer back then. Such a meaning with everything I own. Great review!

The Bread song has always been one of my favorites. It's a perfect three minute seminar on love and relationships. You can learn a lot in those three minutes.

Amy Lee, great. I love the power of the song. True, not much on lyrics but sometimes lyrics make the song, and sometimes the song makes the lyrics unimportant. I love Meat loaf.

Hah, booooring lol I like the song but I get it. Pretty shallow and repetitive , especially listening to Seether's solo version. His singing range isn't great like Layne, if he worked at it honestly the band would be far bigger than it was../ is.

The song isn't without substance or merit, its actually deeply profound if you had researched it. I found the man's reaction singing boring to be quiet annoying to be honest. I think critical analysis you would see the song is about loss and like I said it not without substance or meaning. First one we disagree on.
Really before you comment on music you need to your homework on the industry and also do large amounts of research. Your comments constantly shows me you have little knowledge on music. Anyway at least the female on this channel shows some passion for music.
