Today's video is very special as I got to spend one of the most magical days with one of the most magical of people, my best friend @MorganLong ✨ We recently started a tradition of celebrating the Summer Solstice by being outside, watching the sunset & making our own flower crowns! This is our second year celebrating this beautiful day together & we absolutely made the most of it! Off at my family's cabin, we awoke to watch the sunrise & played the day away until twilight! We wander about the woods, craft our fairy crowns, enjoy a summer picnic & truly experienced magic as we danced in the golden sun, sang with owls & dreamed beneath the stars! I loved this video Randi. The intro was beautiful with your words so wonderfully describing your day with perfect music to accompany it. You capture nature so well in your videos with the lighting, woodland animals, flowers, and clouds in the sky. It transports me there and it is a peaceful vibe that we all crave or at least I do. You definitely had a magical summer solstice day with Morgan. I love your tradition of making flower crowns for each other and watching the the sunrise and sunset is always special on the summer solstice. I loved your poem selections and the fairy poems were new to me. I loved them both. I will need to check out the poet. You picked another really good poem by Mary Oliver. Missed your sweet Cedar this time around, who is your new doggie friend? This video reminds me of those midsummer days a quarter century ago when my girls were still little and we finally had a house with our own backyard reading, dreamy, tea party days with our wonderful Barred Owls singing who cooks for you....who cooks for you all. There is a movie you might like called a Faerie Tale a true story has Peter O’Toole and Harvey Keitel among others and a surprise at the end. HappY Summer Ladies.
