This Melody has a really good feel to it and his voice complements the melody well. And I think it could be really fun if he got up as the band softens while he eases softly toward the latched barn door. The room now silent, he would bend over to place the guitar down with the intention of releasing the old stubborn latch but A RAY OF LIGHT strikes the chrome pic -guard from between the weathered door slats. The music now ramps up with a surprisingly upbeat tempo, and with the crash of the symbol of the previously unseen drum kit. He raises the guitar and kick the doors open and the send half of the song begins. Now the mood has changed and there is renewed hope for memories his his new truck not yet made , the dog and or family loads up and they head across the pasture and through the high water crossing. They end up at the sid of a lake river or stream and end with the sentiment of pride, confident that his new 4 wheel drive truck will make it back home back up the river it handles the wash outs and deep rain ruts as good or better than his dads dads old straight axle flatbed hay hauler ! one day he will be teaching his son how to lock the hubs in manually. cant risk the auto unit failing to engage since your only going to get one run at this hill, no backing up no second trys. the river is rising fast but keep up the momentum and we'll be fine son.... Ha ha, where did that all come from. I intended on complaining about how literally every example he gives, in no way requires a truck. I bet the community could gather up some great activities that require jumping up and down on the rear bumper or carrying someone's late mother to the west corner of the back 40 where she requested that her final resting place under the pecan tree next to her childhood friend , a yellow lab named Max that passed unexpectedly while she was attended the church summer camp. No goodbyes were said, rather a hand carved sign that the tree had begun to grow around, simply reads WELCOME HOME DEAR FRIEND..."
