Great video! I recently got into .22 shooting late last year and your channel has been a great place to learn the last few months. One thing that's been bugging me that I couldn't quite put my finger on is that you remind me of someone. I finally realized. Colton from LinusTechTips! Maybe it's just me, but I find the resemblance uncanny! Anyway, love your vidoes!
The bolt on my B14R carbon was working almost perfectly through the first 8000 rounds until I dropped it on the concrete pad at the range. Of course, it impacted on the bolt face. I'll let you guess about my verbal reaction and self-recriminations. After this idiotic accident, I had multiple extraction issues. Go figure! I was able to reduce the frequency by cleaning the bolt and extractors but was unable to eliminate it. I contacted Bergara and, after a few days, they sent a new extractor kit with springs to me. I replaced all components with the new ones following some RUclips videos. I now have 600 more rounds without a single extractor issue. I recommend you contact Bergara and see if they'll send you their kit. There was no charge even though my rifle is four years old.
Good stuff. I can feel a Box Drop Challenge Coming. 50 shots per target. 50, 100, (150) 200 yards. Guess this will show best ammo..best. Rifle pretty clearly....and challenge what is really a 1 moa 22..
B14r feeding issues that won’t go away!! Trying new magazines from bergara. They work for around a thousand rounds then the feeding issues start. Usually worse with a full clip.
That was good. Your a tough guy. Although I shoot in similar conditions when I can. Good groups at 200. Any wind changes things a lot. Up, down and sideways. I see it all the time. How do you find Lapua ammo?
I would suspect that the extractor claw in the bolt needs to be replaced. I had a similar issue my CZ 457 where when I replaced the extractor, the extraction issue went away and had decent ejection. If the extractor claw is not gripping the rim when retracting the bolt, it will lose its grip on the way back and not hit the ejector to fling out the empty shell. On the video, you can see that the shell was not extracting out of the chamber, hence why the extractor is suspect. You can quickly verify this by swapping the extractor between the 2 bolts and see if the issue follows the suspect extractor.
Good information here regarding the ejector issues. Are you going to contact Bergara about this after you have tried some fixes? Can't wait for the next video in this series of B14-R's.
I tried calling them and after about 5 mins the line just disconnected. That’s not the worst part though the music during the wait was going to make me insane. Almost like they picked the most annoying song so you hang up before you get through ha ha 😆
I was testing with the B22, went to eject a round and something hit me in the shoulder. The back of the bolt came off and parts shot out onto the bag and ground! Right in the middle of filming!😮😅
Why do you keep adjusting the scope your just chasing the impacts around. We can see on the picture velocities are changing so the impacts most likely are. 🤦♂️
"100K subscribers by next year" - these high expectations for a shooting channel don't seem realistic. Good luck with that, but I'd be aiming for 50K and be satisfied with that amount.
You are sure dedicated to be shooting in such cold weather. Thanks for all the cool videos.

Another great video. I am glad to see you are on the way to fixing your issue. Will be staying tuned. Good luck and good shooting.
Glad you're figuring out what the problem is
I think you're on the right path to fixing the problem
Outstanding bro. Glad to see you have fixed the jam-a-matic b blessed bro
Love to see these tests.
Great Shooting Man !! Those b14 rifles frustrate the hell outta me
Ya I know it’s sad you pay this much and have to fix it before it will shoot reliably

If you put 2mm bearing behind left side finger on steel bolt it will help. I use them in both my b14r's
Another great video!👍
good video glad to see your figuring that rifle out. Its sad though purchase a name brand supposed to be top notch and have to deal with those issues
Dude! You're laying in the snow. I'd be worried about something else besides my hands. Lol
I would be looking at aftermarket claws and spring clamp for that dodgy bolt.

great shooting.. i suspected the bolt... maybe now try swapping just the extractor and see what happens?
Thanks for the video! 👍🏽👍🏽
Where do you get the 2mm bearing bbs?
Can't wait to see if this works!! Thanks Ryan 👍

If i remember correctly the bolt extractors claws have two different tensions. I believe the weaker tension is to be the ejection port side.

Looks like tighter headspace

@@BROTUNED I sent you an email with contact info for Bergara Canadian warranty issues. It may be the info you already have.

Seems like your rejection issues are better with the carbon bolt. Possibly call Bergara and send them the bolt for service. 🤔
headspace to tight ?
TRY THE OIL PATCH 😎😎
3mm bearing left side only !!!! B
