Beautiful, classy women. So refreshing to see legends that are positive and still going strong-unscarred by the industry. I can tell by their energy they will continued to be blessed.
It’s sad it takes a “culture vulture” like Vlad to showcase our black iconic figures...black publications gotta step their game up. This was a great interview, I never knew I needed. They seem like the cool aunties with those funny stories at the cookout. Salute to JJ Fad
Crazy watching JJ Fad videos and pictures with NWA and Baby D always had a big smile and now she looks the meanest. She hardly smiles compare to the other two.
Ive DJed shows with many acts, JJ Fad being one of them. These 3 ladies not only put on an incredible show but they are pure class. Very down to earth, easy to talk to and easy to work with. They treated everyone at our event with respect. I wish them happiness, health and continued success. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I remember hearing the older girls saying they couldn't stand this group. Because we were east coast and they were dissing all the east coast girl groups. At the time I was a kid and didn't see the big deal. Watching this they seem so cool to me.
What a great interview! I am a diehard Eazy fan and I loved The Defiant Ones! Seeing the girl’s record that iconic song, was so cool to see. And they were all babies! Love you guys and so happy your still together!
I remember being in 8th grade when super Sonic came out. My family had gotten a computer and I would type the lyrics out to raps, print them and give them to people!! One of my favorite girl groups!!! Love y'all JJ Fad
When they mentioned they weren't from the streets of Compton, Baby D had that face that said... "But don't get it twisted! I'm that bitch"! She's clearly the lil spunky one of the crew.
Supersonic was a huge hit on the radio and in the night clubs in the south. Egyptian Lover, World Class Wrecking Crew, Rodney O & Joe Cooley, JJ Fad, & LA Dream Team were huge in the south, way before NWA, Geto Boys and Master P.
I'm only 37 but I remember them as a kid and Baby-D was always sooooooo fine to me and still is. They all looked good then and now! God Bless these wonderful women.
Its awesome how they said they come together in love at the end "were Christians." Unfortunately many Christians misunderstand the simplicity of the Gospel is based on the goodness of Gods love. God bless you guys JJ Fad.
Loved this whole interview.... patiently waiting each day all week for this interview! I’m just an absolute Ruthless Records & Eazy-E Maniac. So glad the girls are still together! Now we need to get H.W.A. & Menajahtwa back together!
I love these ladies! I am an L.A. native and I was a little older, but I remember them well. Kudos to them. I am so happy that they own their publishing!
