Some enemies had to be redesigned to work with M2's limited draw distance (Eg, Reo, the bird enemy that swoops at Samus from the ceiling in a U pattern, now chases her like in Zero Mission) The limited camera also makes it so that less enemies are active at one time, making it easier in some places. Vertical shafts, on the other hand, take the biggest hit from the camera, it's harder to see things coming if you try falling down
