*Shimura* : Honour above everything *Masako* : Revenge at all cost *Ishikawa* : Realisation of your own mistakes *Norio* : Conflict of faith and duty And *Jin* : Perfect balance between all
- To not let a blind rule take hold of his life and others - That blind rage will lead you to dig yourself into your own hole of regret and hollowness, maybe even deep enough that you can't climb back - To not let the Ghost's identity take hold of him, but still use it to inspire and give hope to those in need - Holding faith, even when he's going against his 'code' throughout his journey, along with losing an important ally along the way, he still knows what he's fighting for, even with those that he know that are against him
All the Hype was being pointed out by stories of other monks, as for Norio, he tells Jin, the truth of how the Guardian is still mere man, of how the stories of his great victories did not include the gruesome fighting, the loss, the sacrifice, the fear. This was true, and a massive foreshadow to what has happened to his brother.
Now that we know these major characters, i think the point of the entire story of the Ghost of Tsushima is that the world changes and when it does; we can't cling onto the past or hold onto grudges forever, because although Shimura is right on a few things, his stubbornness towards his honor is what killed him (or at the very least defeated him) and only in using Deception, Trickery and Intimidation the Mongols can be pushed away. Norio the Warrior Monk is what could be a possible path of taking on the Mongols, A fighter that can keep a level head; and although Norio did lash out in anger, don't forget that it is better to move forward and learn from it rather than start wallowing in remorse.
By far Masako's story was the most compelling to me. Especially the mission where her and Jin had to retrieve her son's bodies to burry them. Emphasised with Jin loosing his parents, both share a bitter bond, which is unique in my opinion.
I'd be interested to see one of these good videos on Taka, Yuna or even Kenjji (I know he's comedic relief) but with his quest in Ikki it shows there is more to him
I just cannot believe how Kenji can be so goofy and charismatic at the same time. His every mission brings something ridiculous but so funny (And his Japanese VA is amazing)
I put it to four lines. Right/Wrong - Grouped Good/Bad - Oneself To our eyes he did Wrong, that is undeniable, to the eyes of other monks, it was Wrong. But to Norio, it was Good, it was relief.
i think the uncharted series has so much to offer in its main protagonist battling his craving for adventure and how it almost ruins his relationships and would love to see you do videos on it
Thatd actually be interesting. The only DMC game i ever played was 5. I loved it. Although, i have a vague understanding of Dante and Vergil’s relationship beyond of what DMC5 shows
@@CynicGTA funny thing about vergil, hes technically only in 2 games and he doesnt show up till the end of the 5th ( hes in the first, but turned into nelo angelo)
I did a little too. But I think the mission where you find his brother was one of the most shocking moments in gaming I’ve ever had. The pure agony he was in, but he stayed in it to see his brother. I think we all could related to his love to fight the pain to see his brother one last time. Even if the missions were a little boring sometimes, I think he has one of the best tales a side mission has ever had. I’ll remember seeing his brother in the temple forever. It was horrific.
They definitely could've downsized his missions because by the time of his introduction, you already have enough to do as is and although the character himself is likable and even similar to Jin in a few ways it's not enough to warrant the length. Instead of 9, I think 4-6 would've been more than enough
I don't like Norio. Every time he speaks, it's all Enjo, Enjo, Enjo. Got annoying real fast. He's also on the verge of tears all the time. And he s*ks at fighting. This guy is a warrior monk??

I found it sad that, after all the talk and hype when we eventually find his brother, he’s skin and bones and was basically Tortured to death
All the Hype was being pointed out by stories of other monks, as for Norio, he tells Jin, the truth of how the Guardian is still mere man, of how the stories of his great victories did not include the gruesome fighting, the loss, the sacrifice, the fear.

would've been better to just find a corpse strung up in a tree than what we encountered when finding him.
I think it’s just a Yuna video that’s needed now she definitely deserves one.
Facts either her and taka together one of them separately
Best kept for last I guess
Taka, Kenji and Tenzo (the man who killed Kazumasa) deserve their own as well.
Kuto's to Norio's voice actor. You can feel the venom in his "Not Yet."

War is one thing. Adapt or die

Norio's mission is a sad tale

Thank you for giving Norio your time, Cynic.
A deep dive on Mass Effect characters would be dope.
i couldn't say which tale was my favorite but I do know Ghost of Tsushima is a top ten favorite of mine.
A deep dive into Vito Scaletta would be rad.
Its being worked on right now actually! If not this week itll be out next week 💯!
@CynicGTA awesome sauce. Loving the effort.
Jin, the former samurai: “Now why does this arc sound familiar?” 🤔

I'd love a video on yuriko or if you want to do something different from ghost of tsushima I'd really like a agent 47 analysis
@Cynic is it possible that you could start a Ghost What If series? Like if Shimura died in Yarikawa and Kazumasa led the assault on Komodo’s
Bro I love these lore videos. Please keep it up! When Jinroku video?
The most hardest boss fight in GOT
Finally my favorite side story 🙏🏾
Jin basically has to walk norio through the same transition he is making to become the ghost .
Please please please do a video on iki island btw love the vids❤
“I was wrong “ about what? I want to know!
People do a Yuna video next please!!
The Legend of Heroes franchise, Ys franchise, Tekken
Any interest in a vid or vids about Dante and Virgil from devil may cry?

It's very jarring to hear the English voices of the main since my entire playthrough was in Japanese
Games to cover next;
Sekiro, starwars force unleashed, starwars fallen order,
Assassin's Creed Origins?
I find all Norio's mission boring.
