if you don't know, the trilogy is about ancient china, and if you don't know, ancient china is all about mythology, so the plot is still going the right way. People just don't know wha they should know.
I for one was happy with just the trilogy, I didn’t really see the need for a fourth one … but I especially don’t see why they needed to bring g Kai back since po destroyed him, a spirit, in the spirit realm. So it should be impossible for Him to come back. And having shen bow to po at the end? Nah. I feel like there was potential for story in this movie but … there was none. It seemed to be more of an attempt at comedy than the others
@@Patrick-ev5ye her motivation is more that nobody wanted to train her because they didnt believe she could ever reach something but yeah it was poorly written
The movie was based around Chinese ,mythology, it was always, and i noticed it in the first movie. All those legendary weapons, the legend of dragon warrior and things like that. I believe that the movie goes the right direction, but a bit too enthusiasticaly. Dreamworks should've created a movie between 3rd and 4th, which was made fro bringing us to knowledge about mythology. I believe movie is good, just was served at the wrong time. Also cool detail: we know that oogway was a conqueror, and fought with Kai, but too many people believe that that means he was a bad guy. but if we remember, the Kung Fu Panda takes place in the 3rd dynasty, 1st one was about a 1000 years ago from time. At the time in real life, China invaded nearby countries, as they were getting too powerful, which shows that although cruel with war, but in the right way at the time, oogway was young commander that fought for safety of his people (Oogway stated that as he died, it was his 1000th year)
The Furious Five are actually named after five separate Kung Ga Kung Fu styles, the Tiger, Snake, Crane, Monkey, and Praying Mantis. And each character uses that skill set in their action sequences, too. And obviously, the Chinese representation in these films is great. But a movie can’t rely on accurate representation to be good. There are bad movies with good representation(Lightyear), and good movies with bad representation.
Kung Fu Panda wasn’t needed in the first place. If any art is needed, it is more likely a child’s drawing or a poem shared with a friend than any mass-market entertainment.
No man you aren't being too harsh on this movie, I might even dare say you're being too soft. This movie was utter garbage and the disappointment it gives would be an understatement.
The views on this are VERY appreciated! 😂 Lemme know if there are any other movies u want me to review, cuz I need more uploads! 🫠
This movie really made us realise we took the trilogy for granted.

Kung fu panda 4 without the furious 5 it’s like Pizza without cheese, like wtf were they thinking 😔
It's bad and should be viciously condemned. DreamWorks basically killed the kung-fu panda franchise.
Ever heard of chinese mythology, which is what movie was about, just not so much at start???
Bro I genuinely cant understand why y'all hate this movie so much
@@torad_2120Barely any depth to the villain, unlike the previous three films.
edit: to add, her motivation is being too short 😥
@@Patrick-ev5ye Agree she isnt comparable to Tai lung and Shen but still the movie has a lot of other good aspects
