Awwww! Epic Kent moment! “Who asked for that? I don’t know” 😂 so, I love any coconut candle smell and I’m glad they gave us a tropical but winter coconut candle instead of snowflake coconut meh. The ones like perfect winter feel like a public bathroom smell for some reason. Guess that’s why they make so many different flavors because we all have different noses.

Let's see....a couple of notes here. I'm an employee of B&BW and for the first time ever they allowed associates to do their candle day shopping yesterday. I bought 12 candles. I loved Candy Emporium but no one else really liked it lol. Got The Perfect Winter and The Perfect Spring. Then the usual Christmas stuff and the Hanukkah candle. They didn't have Clausmopoliton or Candy Cane Colada yesterday but I like them and want to get those as well. I didn't care for Top Shelf Elf. I got to smell Brioche French Toast and Toasted White Macadamia yesterday but I could live without it. I was at work at 5:30 this morning and the crowds came and went in waves but it wasn't as big as we thought it would be. Lastly, I'm surprised you didn't get the Saltwater Breeze candle. I thought for sure you would have got that one. Can't wait to see more of your thoughts and reviews on this candle day event!!!
I'm skipping Candle Day this year for financial reasons and was feeling a little bittersweet about it but your video has me confident in my choice -- I don't need more mediocre sweet fruit scents and honestly a lot of the packaging is somewhat juvenile -- not my vibe. Plus B&BW didn't even give me a coupon this year, which really sealed the deal on my decision to sit it out. I'll wait until SAS and see what's left then.
I opted out this year for Candle Day as well. I did go into the store to sniff, but left empty handed. Def agree with you about feeling bittersweet. But it seems like the selection this year was a bit underwhelming compared to previous years, so i don't think we missed out on much. Priorities come first, especially in this economy.😅
I only got two of the French toast candles. They are going back ASAP. So sickly sweet for me.

I went into store at 5:15a.m. Had a sprinkling of shoppers but it was light. I didnt buy Top Shelf Elf and Candy Emporium, they smelled weird to me and I couldnt imagine they would improve with burning. I didnt have any coupons to use, so I bought half as many as last year. Overall, not really excited about any of the new releases. Your Dahlia packaging would have been such an improvement! Thanks for your haul video!😊
Wow I don't know why they went with super fruity notes for a lot of these special releases.. was hoping for boozy or coffee for top shelf elf, dang. I don't love the fruity scents either .
I think the releases this year are a tad underwhelming but I'll still be going after work to weed out the good ones. Perfect winter sounds fun
The wrapping paper like packaging is to die for.. my favorite of the bunch

All tier candles are out at my store today. I was surprised to pick up the French toast candle this morning. I got up at 5:00am to do it.

I feel like it smells like toasted pistachio and vanilla & pumpkin pecan Waffles mashed up, so good! At least it did in store while I was shopping-i haven't unloaded my car yet😂

That green and gold vanilla balsam packaging was the best. That's a great candle. One of my faves!

I picked up some Warm Apple Pie Candles online, because it wasn’t in stores this year. I think it’s one of their best and most realistic scents. Definitely the best apple pie scent out of any candle company. It’s seems to have sold out now, so I’m glad I was up sick with the flu, so I got to log in at 3 AM and buy the candles. 😅
I was going to do an online order tomorrow to get any I forgot and online exclusives (warm apple pie & welcome home), but they sold out so Def getting done next fall!
I wanted that one and it sold out so fast
It’s always fun when you can’t sleep or something and shop online and sometimes get stuff before it’s sold out!

I actually like candy emporium on cold! I thought the perfect Winter was just Winter so I passed on it but now I think I need it based on your thoughts lol

I got spiced gingerbread, caramel drizzle, and fresh cut Lilac. My standalone store wasn't too bad this morning. Oh, and I got paris Cafe. I was really hoping to find pumpkin caramel swirl, that one was so good, but they sold out a while back.
I love the Perfect Winter candle. It immediately smelled like the Yuletide candle to me from I believe 2018/19.
I too love wildberry and Ube. So much so, I bought 2 backups because like you, I think there is a chance we may not see it again anytime soon.

Ever since they changed to two days, the lines died down in my area. Now I can go anytime of the day, but I do go before 12. I got 7 candles. Perfect Winter smells divine. 💜
You always make me laugh so hard 😂😂 love your honesty. I'm so so disappointed in the Dahlia candle packaging 😢 she could have been beautiful. I'm happy that someone else is as irritated as I am. It's the first Dahlia candle to my knowledge. Didn't like the weird Santa ones at all.....I think it's called the elephant collection?? Wasn't crazy about the candy ones. I am very unimpressed this year. Still holding out hope for the calm collection that is supposed to be out tomorrow. Thanks again for your reviews
I wasn’t going to shop this morning but I couldn’t sleep and it was surprisingly warm this morning. Had it been cold I would’ve stayed in. Glad I went they had the All Is Calm collection at the front door when I got there I was so shocked.

I put my Candy Emporium under the candle warmer as soon as I got home, and it smells nice! Am I dying for it? No, but it’s fine. Very much for the sugar lovers.

Clausmopolitan had a weird after smell and I actually like blk cherry seltzer better,, passed. Didn’t care for Top shelf elf either. Just got Candy cane colada. I like Perfect winter too. I did pick up Candy emporium and caramel drizzle. Absolutely WOULDVE BOUGHT lavender marshmallow but still have quite a few in my collection. I miss Winter Mint and Spruce have only 1 full jar left. I don’t care for fruity either.
I was trying to get an idea of Tipsy Elf just couldn't get the reasoning behind fruit smell with Christmas decor! I'll go on and try it since you didn't seem too negative about it. I like your reviews!
It also annoys me they didn't give the body care candles their wraparound label. They can afford to put a little more plastic on the candle jar and still sell it for candle day lmao. Now that you mention the exchange policy requiring items to be at the same price point, I feel like that's probably why they quickly changed all the candles and stuff over to a .95 price point lol
The only new candle that I got was Candy Cane Colada. I actually loved it. I’m thinking of getting another 2. 😅 The rest I didn’t feel was anything I had to get.

Weird , those Saturday drop candles were out at my store but my store was also missing halves of some collections
Candy Cane Colada and Candy Emporium going to be real controversial this year. I passed on Candy Cane Colada because I don’t like pineapple or coconut candles very much, but picked up Candy Emporium because it gave me a scent memory of childhood candy stores.
The elf is expected to be an energy drink scent per notes and descriptions. And I’ve heard from many that it’s indeed that!
Thank you as always! I have no interest in going into the store today or tomorrow. You cant even look at the website today. You have to be in line. There are no Candles that even look appeasing at all.

To me, Top Shelf Elf smells like Bahama Fizz. I compared them and it’s like 90% the same
The Perfect Winter is very close to Ice Winter Balsam. Compared them at the store. Seems like a repackage of one of those tree test collection candles from a few years back.

They could be re-packaging Lavender Marshmallow as “Sweet Dreams” and they’re just leaving that out there on the table.
I love Vanilla all out. Does the Vanilla Balsam have a good strong throw?
Nice haul, and very informative. Do you think they will ever bring back the Cypress and Amber scent? I love that scent so much.
Hard to say, but normally if something is overwhelmingly popular, they'll bring it back the next year after, so doesn't look too good for Cypress & Amber as of now. That candle was pretty much a mix of Marshmallow Fireside and Flannel, so you could get something similar by burning both of those candles simultaneously.

I'm usually a Candle Day early riser but woke up with a migraine. I ended up going around at 4pm, and it wasn't bad! I'm actually glad I went when I did because they put out the Pink Hot Cocoa when I was in the store.

I showed up at my store at 10am and there were barely any people in it. There was more staff than customers. I wanted to pick up ParIs Cafe but they didn’t have any. They said their shipment never arrived.

weirdest candle day ever, no lines at all. I think people are feeling the heat of inflation. For some reason I always get the coupons and did not this time so I was already pissed off when I walked in, lol.

Does anyone know how you would be able to use a coupon online to get them for less than the 9.95 says you enter the code candle day but can’t combine with any other coupons. Asking for my mom who’s store closed and the new one hasn’t opened yet so can’t shop in store thank u 🌲
Online requires a code so you can’t use coupons with this promotion, unfortunately. You would have to go into a store to use your coupons. The usual going rate for candles outside of Candle Day is 12.95, so 9.95 without a coupon is still a better deal than 12.95 with let’s say a 20% coupon.

Caramel Drizzle has come out at Christmas time for quite a few years now.
