- What if Peter Parker wasn't recruited by Tony Stark and joined team cap in Captain America Civil War? Spider-Man would be the voice of reason in this story which leads to a very different outcome for the future of the MCU.

In Avengers: Infinity War
Scott Lang being recruited by Tony Stark makes an insane amount of sense. He is a man with a recird who has been trying to get back on the straight and narrow. A single phone call from Tony would do plenty to improve his life and allow him to see his kid more often.
I’ve always wanted to see the possibility of Cap and Spidey on the same side in Civil War since they are more alike in my opinion than Tony and Peter. I always thought it was a real tragedy we never got to see them form a real bond. This was a really great exploration of how that could’ve completely changed the MCU, and how important Civil War was, can’t wait to see more
I just realized peter had his life ruined when people found out his identity, and that in civil war if you're on Iron Man's side you have to reveal your identity.
Yeah I wish they made this a point in the story
I mean, if he had got his identity revealed in Civil War, it would be fine. Since he had just been starting out.
That actually happened in the comics in civil war story line. When that happened Aunt May got shot because of a kingpin assassin. Then Peter got mad and almost killed Kingpin and he'll finish the job if Aunt May died. All this wouldn't of happened if Spider-Man joined Team IronMan
@@TWDG_24 There's also the WHAT IF...? where the assassin shoots Mary Jane by mistake and Peter chooses to cross that line. Kingpin looked genuinely shocked when Peter punched through his heart. His henchmen are so stunned and terrified that they released Aunt May and immediately surrendered. There was also this subplot where Kingpin had the political connections to make Tony protect him, which only served to piss Peter off that much more. Tony is basically choosing to lock up his friends and play guard dog to crime bosses!
The worst part is that the comic ends with Peter surrendering to the NYPD instead of Tony, angrily declaring to Tony his intent to take this to court to see if the people will judge him for killing a mass murdering crime boss that has registered heroes in his pocket... and then there was never a part two!!
I would pay so much money to see the trial of Peter Parker! To see a jury reject the Registration Act! To see Tony stammer like an idiot when nobody is impressed by his politics! That would be *glorious!*

One of the dumbest things ever is that we never get one scene where Peter's outrage at Tony is justified. They always make him look like a brat, but he should have been smart enough to realize he had been drafted. Tony's comment about the Vulture being below his pay grade should have utterly disillusioned Peter, especially given his principles expressed in Civil War. Tony could have cleaned up Vulture's crew with ease, but doesn't because it isn't a priority for him. That hypocrisy alone should have had Peter ready to reject him like in the comics.
I honestly think they realized there was no time for that storyline in the movies, they didn't even have time to have a solid relationship between Peter and Steve, and now we can never have that
Great video 👏. I've got an idea, What if all three Spider-Men existed in the MCU?. Tobey is the first Spider-Man, Andrew is the second Spider-Man and Tom is the third one. How would this have impacted the MCU if Maguire and Garfield existed in the same universe as Holland did?.

Sadly that MCU didn't give Spider-Man and Captain America more interaction as deeply as I would've like to have seen. It should be obvious that both Cap and Spider-Man have becoming a dynamic duo in the comic. I really wish Marvel should reboot MCU and give us more interaction between Spider-Man and Captain America and less with Ironman.
No Way Home ironically has a Cap Jr named MCU Spider Man imo. His arguements with Starnge became literal fights and he paid the price of freedom by making everyone forget about him
