DICE - The creators of battlefield, amazing graphics, they listen to their community, they to everything to make the people happy, even when EA ruined bf4, they still did their best to repair it, and now, one year later, it's a perfect balanced shooter with one of the best graphics up to date, I have high hopes for Battlefront. 4. Square Enix - Fantastic characters, fantastic games, fantastic gameplay, fantastic stories, fantastic graphics, everything by them is fantastic, they're such an amazing company. They created one of the best JRPGs ever, and one of the highest praised video games of all time. 3. Bethesda - As a publisher, they don't let their developers rush the game, and as a developer, they're amazing, the Fallout series, the Elder Scrolls series, all masterpieces, except TES Online, but they will learn from their mistakes. 2. Valve - They are an amazing company, they make amazing games, and the key is, don't rush them, they're already working for years on future games, yes, the people get inpatient, but it will be worth the wait, and steam is fantastic, amazing sales, indie developers get a chance, Valve is just wonderful. 1. Nintendo - They make their mistakes sometimes, but usually, the games are amazing, they do what a lot of other developers don't do, they dare to do new things, the Wii series, the Virtual Boy, sometimes it works, other times not, they think outside of the box, and make amazing games, Zelda, Pokémon, Mario, Metroid, Super Smash Bros, and so much more, and it's all kid friendly! Now the worst: 5. LJN - The original cash and grab bad games makers, I don't know what they're doing now though. 4. Microsoft - They take franshises and ruin them, but they have some good games, so it's a mixed bag 3. Ubisoft - Their most recent games are very, very rushed, with tons of worthless DLC 2. I'll let coc slide, but candu crush saga needs to die. It isn't even original, it isn't even inspired. It's literally bejeweled but with candy instead of gems. Microsoft bought Rare for the same reason EA bought up smaller companies. It wasn't to use popular IPs, it was to take those IPs away from their competition. It's pretty funny and sad EA grew from being a small developer that focused on video games as art into what it is today.

My top 5 favorite gaming companies: 5. Mojang. Most people only know Mojang for Minecraft and not for Scrolls and such, so we'll just get to Minecraft. Although it was based off a few other projects such as Rubydung and Infiniminer, the concept was great. The gameplay is quite good as well. However, a lot of the new updates are pointless, so that's why Mojang is at #5. 4. Sega. Now hold on a minute. I know about Sonic Boom, 06, R, and all that stuff. But most of those were made by a completely different company, Square. They aren't the best at 3d games, but 2d games are where Sega really shines. 3. Blizzard. WoW. Enough said. 2. Nintendo. The best thing about Nintendo is, they take chances. Game & Watch, Virtual Boy, DS, sometimes they work and sometimes they dont. But they think outside the box. They have so many creative ideas. Forces was good, Unleashed was good, Black Knight brought Underground into canon and Sonic weilding a sword so it was awesome, SA2B is badassery at its finest, Shadow the Hedgehog gave us Shadow's backstory with unique gameplay though I still think he's Sonic's brother Manic, and Generations gave us new takes on levels from the past

Regardless of gaming taste, I would say any company that legitimately screwed over their followers. This means nonsense cancellations, rushed entries to known series, and general laziness. Biggest problem is that we can't do anything about it. We're not getting Gaben to do something else besides being a record label for games, we're not getting Kojima back, and we sure as hell ain't gonna stop the rehashing and ripoffs. I think gaming is in a risky place nowadays, where most games seem to have copy-pasted their style, characters and story from all sorts of things that have now become the standard. And although there's always the influence from somewhere else, there seem to be hardly any games left that truly have an identity.

Really? Rare? I understand your points but don't blame Rare, blame Microsoft! Microsoft can be total jerks sometimes with micro-transactions, pre-order, etc. But they are smart when it comes to making money. They saw what a success Rare and nintendo had made with DK64 and Banjo Kazooie, so they used them to make an excuse for people to buy their games and to think that they were getting anything close to what Rare makes (and they didn't). Don't get me wrong, Rare Replay is one of Microsoft's best decisions as far as games go, but still you shouldn't blame the company who makes the games, blame the person who told them to and bought them just for a logo! CAPCOM- For said reasons. Pay to 'unlock' content was insulting. Plus Doing f*** all for Wii U aside from having Ryu hog a spot in Smash Bros. SEGA- CD, 32X, Especially the Saturn. The console was good, but Sega handled it dreadfully. Not bothering to export outstanding Japanese games as it was too cost affective. Then insisting that the few fans left SHOULD buy a dreamcast. Now they even admit their quality has been mostly sh*te for the past 10 years. ACTIVISION- For over 30 years Activision have spat in the faces of gaming genius. From sacking creative masterminds because they actually cared about quality to churning out milling, chav bait that is CoD. EA- Similar to Activision but worse They're notorious for over milking, poor quality and treating staff like bad smells. But again, it doesn't matter as there is plenty of stupid for them to feed off. ZYNGA- Actually credit to this lot for putting prices on what used to be standard features on 8 and 16 bit games. I love those adverts that show an exciting CG representation of their games. But they turn out to be something a Megadrive/Genesis would churn out. Imagine Populous or Columns but you pay for features like moving, advancing a level, upgrading to gain access to a purchasable upgrade to unlock privileges which allow you to save 50p on your next level.

Everyone grumbled about it not being like a typical online shooter. But Nintendo knew it would be recognised for being different. Nintendo do what they want, not what they're told. Sega has the occasional spark now and then, but they are far from what they used to be. Capcom, nah I still don't like them anymore.
stufaman Nintendo backed a good horse, Splatoon broke records in Japan and Europe maybe NA but it was a console seller, and they decided for Australia New Zealand to package Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon together for about $440 AUD/NZD with a premium console (32 GB) 2 most successful system sellers and can move a million products. Xenoblade X has a chance to determine itself with a potential winning formula for December at least until Twilight Princess HD (which is compensation for dedicated Zelda fans) which will point to a Wii U/NX joint release. Sega needs to stop destroying the Sonic IP value release Neptunia on Wii U and think of actually making a streaming box like SegaTV Sega has experienced massive issues even as a third party publisher yet Nintendo enjoys the titles it has (minus the Wii U) the 3DS is uncontested and third party are now shifting to PS4 titles and some to the 3DS, Capcom I think hold the IP to Monster hunter but I may be wrong however Nintendo could put stock into Capcom and Square enix to benefit off the Ps4's lead.

I used to play Ayakashi, a card game from Zynga. It was incredibly fun with some of the best art of any mobile card game that existed at the time. When it came down to it, the game was free to play with top tier characters in events being accessible for any player who plays long enough without spending a dime. Then, they thought it was a good idea to change this. They made it so that tower events were no longer about working hard to make it to the top. You either had to have money to make it or saved up every item you can for long enough to even have a chance at it, it was bull. Ayakashi is gone now but Otogi, a game by the devs of Aya, now exists and is totally f2p friendly. Still salty I couldn't get my hot white haired, two eye colors, student council president demon though.
since you included zynga, I think that both king and thunderbull are even worse than zynga. thunderbull is nowhere near as well known, but if you look at their sad excuses for games on Google play or the app store, you'll see what I'm talking about
I just looked up Thunderbull's games, and even if I didn't play them, I can already tell that they are gonna be bad. They also seem to be very uncreative with the names of their games. It's basically just one or more part/s of a famous game's name and another then mashed together to create (example) "Grand Speed Rising: Mass Fortress Life 2K16" Sadly, a lot of mobile game companies wanting to be famous also use the uncreative name trick. Just search up one part of a game's name and surely you would find one or more badly made game with a title that babies would laugh at.

If you are looking purely at the games they have produced, then they are not bad at all. If you actually look at some of their business practices, Steam problems, and their full embrace of microtransactions on many games, including pay-for-mods, then yes, they are bad.

I would argue that Valve is the worst game company right now. The only game series they really created were Half-life, Left 4 Dead, and Portal. Day of Defeat, Team Fortress, Counter-Strike, Ricochet, and Dota were all originally mods created by independent developers. Valve just acquired the intellectual property of the games and made a shit ton of money off of it. TF2, CSGO, and Dota 2 all are ridden with microtransactions to squeeze more profit out of it. When was the last time Valve made a game that wasn't an adaptation of a mod, or a remake, or a money-grab using microtransactions?

3. Bethesda - As a publisher, they don't let their developers rush the game, and as a developer, they're amazing, the Fallout series, the Elder Scrolls series, all masterpieces, except TES Online, but they will learn from their mistakes.

Valve - They are an amazing company, they make amazing games, and the key is, don't rush them, they're already working for years on future games, yes, the people get inpatient, but it will be worth the wait, and steam is fantastic, amazing sales, indie developers get a chance, Valve is just wonderful.

Nintendo - They make their mistakes sometimes, but usually, the games are amazing, they do what a lot of other developers don't do, they dare to do new things, the Wii series, the Virtual Boy, sometimes it works, other times not, they think outside of the box, and make amazing games, Zelda, Pokémon, Mario, Metroid, Super Smash Bros, and so much more, and it's all kid friendly!

5. Mojang. Most people only know Mojang for Minecraft and not for Scrolls and such, so we'll just get to Minecraft. Although it was based off a few other projects such as Rubydung and Infiniminer, the concept was great. The gameplay is quite good as well. However, a lot of the new updates are pointless, so that's why Mojang is at #5.
4. Sega. Now hold on a minute. I know about Sonic Boom, 06, R, and all that stuff. But most of those were made by a completely different company, Square. They aren't the best at 3d games, but 2d games are where Sega really shines.
3. Blizzard. WoW. Enough said.
2. Nintendo. The best thing about Nintendo is, they take chances. Game & Watch, Virtual Boy, DS, sometimes they work and sometimes they dont. But they think outside the box. They have so many creative ideas.

Regardless of gaming taste, I would say any company that legitimately screwed over their followers.
This means nonsense cancellations, rushed entries to known series, and general laziness.
Biggest problem is that we can't do anything about it. We're not getting Gaben to do something else besides being a record label for games, we're not getting Kojima back, and we sure as hell ain't gonna stop the rehashing and ripoffs.
I think gaming is in a risky place nowadays, where most games seem to have copy-pasted their style, characters and story from all sorts of things that have now become the standard. And although there's always the influence from somewhere else, there seem to be hardly any games left that truly have an identity.

Really? Rare? I understand your points but don't blame Rare, blame Microsoft! Microsoft can be total jerks sometimes with micro-transactions, pre-order, etc. But they are smart when it comes to making money. They saw what a success Rare and nintendo had made with DK64 and Banjo Kazooie, so they used them to make an excuse for people to buy their games and to think that they were getting anything close to what Rare makes (and they didn't). Don't get me wrong, Rare Replay is one of Microsoft's best decisions as far as games go, but still you shouldn't blame the company who makes the games, blame the person who told them to and bought them just for a logo! Still great video, but I had to get that off my chest. Thank you.

6 years later almost all of these companies have either gotten their shit together or stayed bad, looking at you EA
CAPCOM- For said reasons. Pay to 'unlock' content was insulting. Plus Doing f*** all for Wii U aside from having Ryu hog a spot in Smash Bros.
SEGA- CD, 32X, Especially the Saturn. The console was good, but Sega handled it dreadfully. Not bothering to export outstanding Japanese games as it was too cost affective. Then insisting that the few fans left SHOULD buy a dreamcast. Now they even admit their quality has been mostly sh*te for the past 10 years.
ACTIVISION- For over 30 years Activision have spat in the faces of gaming genius. From sacking creative masterminds because they actually cared about quality to churning out milling, chav bait that is CoD.
EA- Similar to Activision but worse They're notorious for over milking, poor quality and treating staff like bad smells. But again, it doesn't matter as there is plenty of stupid for them to feed off.
ZYNGA- Actually credit to this lot for putting prices on what used to be standard features on 8 and 16 bit games. I love those adverts that show an exciting CG representation of their games. But they turn out to be something a Megadrive/Genesis would churn out. Imagine Populous or Columns but you pay for features like moving, advancing a level, upgrading to gain access to a purchasable upgrade to unlock privileges which allow you to save 50p on your next level.

Sims 4 was more like a downgraded version of Sims 2. It felt like Sims 2 had more customization options and more ways to play with than Sims 4.

I used to play Ayakashi, a card game from Zynga. It was incredibly fun with some of the best art of any mobile card game that existed at the time. When it came down to it, the game was free to play with top tier characters in events being accessible for any player who plays long enough without spending a dime. Then, they thought it was a good idea to change this. They made it so that tower events were no longer about working hard to make it to the top. You either had to have money to make it or saved up every item you can for long enough to even have a chance at it, it was bull. Ayakashi is gone now but Otogi, a game by the devs of Aya, now exists and is totally f2p friendly.

I just looked up Thunderbull's games, and even if I didn't play them, I can already tell that they are gonna be bad.
They also seem to be very uncreative with the names of their games. It's basically just one or more part/s of a famous game's name and another then mashed together to create (example) "Grand Speed Rising: Mass Fortress Life 2K16"
Sadly, a lot of mobile game companies wanting to be famous also use the uncreative name trick. Just search up one part of a game's name and surely you would find one or more badly made game with a title that babies would laugh at.

Even JetLag Studios did a ripoff of a Disney princess movie, it was so fucking better than Video Borqueaudo's "movies". I would argue that Valve is the worst game company right now. The only game series they really created were Half-life, Left 4 Dead, and Portal. Day of Defeat, Team Fortress, Counter-Strike, Ricochet, and Dota were all originally mods created by independent developers. Valve just acquired the intellectual property of the games and made a shit ton of money off of it. TF2, CSGO, and Dota 2 all are ridden with microtransactions to squeeze more profit out of it. When was the last time Valve made a game that wasn't an adaptation of a mod, or a remake, or a money-grab using microtransactions?
I hate How Valve only cares about the multiplayer games instead of the offline games
