Chop frozen fruit into bowl with double (heavy) cream and whip them together. In no time you have fruit ice cream. You can pop it back in the freezer for a while but there's no real need. You can stir in more fruit pieces if you wish. This way you just mae as much or a little as you want.

For a twist I sometimes use marscapone cheese instead of cream, mixed with a fruit jam/compote or melted chocolate it makes a lovely creamy ice-cream with a slightly different flavour and texture from the cheese. Also makes a great filling for a cheesecake, simply put on a base of crushed biscuits and butter, place in fridge or freezer to set and serve. Greetings from Ireland.

You can buy jam that is all fruit, no sugar, especially common in health food stores.
I made this yesterday with some organic cocoa powder and stevia sweetener and it was delicious! So creamy and satisfying. ☺️😋
