Absolute life saver. NV 66AH shot two nails. Pulled them out with pliers but left the head in the piston guide. Visions of tearing the whole beast apart. Your video made it a two-minute job. Works perfectly again. Many thanks!

Thank you so much. This is my first time using a coil nailer and I spent WAY too much time trying to fix this jam.

I’ve been a sider most of my life. Occasionally I get someone who will oil one if my guns when they start jamming. Other than that, they’ll go months if not years without oil. They’ve all lasted years.
As far as the coil being round. Yeah. Make sure it’ll roll around the axle in the drum. Beyond that, the biggest thing to look for after dropping a coil is to make sure the nail tips haven’t got caught in the strip of the next layer. Beyond that, form it round, smack the back down onto a flat surface, and you’re golden

Desperate question here... I have a PCable FN250SB with nails jammed not in the piston mechanism but rather in the nail magazine itself. This particular unit has a enclosed magazine and they are wedged in there pretty good. Is there a way to open up the magazine without taking the bottom end of this gun apart? Thanks so much for any help.

10-15 drops of oil!!? Seems excessive. However, the manual for my Hitachi siding nailer NV 65AH2 says to lubricate with 2cc’s. And that’s equivalent to ~40 drops. And that seems excessive to me!!!! Guess I’ll try the 15 drops of oil and possibly go up from there since I keep on getting jams after one successful shot.

What i like to do is a couple of drops before work , again at t break then dinner and again 15 mins before end of shift.😊Oil prevents 70% of problems.

The main issue for nail stuck in he nose most of the times is wide nose from front

The main issue for nail stuck in the nose most of the times is that the driver blade is rounded, so should be removed and ground flat. The reason the nose cone stretches is that when a nail jams and is removed with a punch or old driver blade the nail has to be punched out with the driver blade together.😊

Well ive been repairing these guns since 2019 and according to my experience if the nose gets wide due to driver stuck with nail then its good to recommend customer to get the nose changed because flattening only helps for month or two and it starts stucking the nails in nose again

@@shekasingh Hi sheka cost of new nose cone £100 cost of grinding driver blade £0. If the nose cone is stretched too much replace and grind flat driver blade.
